if youre going to strictly follow 10k or 6months.. definitely yes.

some kasi 10000km will take 2yrs.. lol...oil life close to zero...

For most diesel engines, OCI is 10k kms when using FS oil.
But the oil filter needs to be replaced every 5k kms.
Is this an oil filter issue?
If yes, are there oil filters than can last 10k kms also?

Kung may heavy duty filter ka like Baldwin or Fleetguard carry 10k oci or once a year.

Civic FB boss, paired with Vic filter from our local auto supply, no access to quality filters like Baldwin eh, before I use Honda OEM, pero parang pareho lang andar, mas mura pa Vic.

pwede pa ba gamitin yung natirang langis from last PMS? 5W-40 lang pareho at same lang yung brand, kasi Suzuki uses Total Oils.

Actually from February and this May na PMS yung mga natira kong langis, halos 1 liter pa nung pinagsama ko.

as long as the bottle was closed really good. if it was left open.. there could be moisture which isnt good.

normally most 5w40 will be the same. api sn or the api sl variety.

most 10w40s are semi synth and possibly could be combined also..

the 15w40s are somewhat different..

just dont mix hdeos and pcmos...

It is advisable not to mix up oils of different brands ... unless you really know what you are doing ... different brands have different formulas and additives ...

very good oil. its dexos1 rated. so it has enough additives for 8-9months

Semi synthetic lang pinalagay ko nung nagpa change oil ako sa shell.

Ok lang ba yun for a 6yr old honda jazz? Bought it last week.
