lancer EL air filter

hi, was thinking of placing air filter on my car, 96 lancer itlog na EL.

wat are the pros and cons?

wat about fuel economy? not into speed really. thanks:confused:

pros: medyo mag iimprove ng konti ang acceleration pero with a 1300 cc car, baka hindi maging noticable.

cons: none i can think of, except maybe of the initial price that you may be paying on the conversion.

ako, stock pa rin ang airfilter ng 1991 el ko.
i made sure to replace it annually along with the fuel filter.
alaga na lang sa tune-up para fuel efficient ang ride mo.

I agree with Zero, used to have an EL too and was thinking on the same line as you John, but after considering everything, regular tune-up na lang and regular replacement of air-filter oks lang yung engine.

stick with your stock filter nalang if you don't need/want the extra speed. it's cheaper and less of a hassle in the long run
