July 13th, 2010 02:00 PM #41pre, mahal sa casa ang dist assy. 1.5k lang kuha ko sa banawe..if ayaw mo munang magpalit ng distro assy try to check your ignition switch particular yung contact (soldered with black/ylw colored wire) for ignition coil ballast resistor (baka pudpod na or corroded) or yung fuse for coil ballast resistor kasi baka lang naglo-loose contact ka na dun kaya mamamatay ang supply sa coil mo..trace mo yung mga continuity ng wiring for coil mo. to validate..bypass the wiring circuit..get a piece of at least 2 meter awg16 na wire, connect one end to +bat terminal and the other end to ballast resistor of your coil. connect mo lang sya pag gagamiting mo sasakyan for long test driving and don't forget to disconnect pag garahe or stop engine ka na kasi discharge battery ka pag nakalimutan mo and sunog coil(during driving di masusunog coil mo don't worry). this is only for temporary isolation para malaman mo lang kung sa ignition wiring(from ignition switch to coil) ka nagkakaproblema. sana mahuli mo na problema..

-Di ko papagawa sa CASA papa diagnose ko lang sana, no idea din sa diagnostic test nila kung magkano..
-Bago nga pala resistor block ng Ignition Coil / asan nga pala ang fuse nito?
-About sa ignition switch, nag kabit na kami ng direct switch na ON and OFF sa battery going to Ignition Coil, Just incase na tumirik ON ko daw and try to start. But to no success nung tumirik ako di gumana ang switch ON/OFF meaning daw okey ang ignition switch. ???
-okey ang idle ko eh, possible pa din ba na distributor? diba yung sayo unstable ang idling and timing? sukong suko na ata ako...
Sugalan ko na kaya ang distributor? How about ang replacement? thanks thanks sa mga advises... update ko pa din kayo pag may changes...

July 13th, 2010 04:39 PM #44ok. tama yung ginawa nyo sa switch kaya lang di pa rin umubra..di ka parin nakapag start agad so ok ang original na circuit mo from ignition switch to coil. try mo kabit yung ginawa nyong bypass sa terminal mismo ng coil not on the terminal of ballast resistor...bypass nyo na rin yung ballast muna..medyo mataas ng konti magiging operating current ng coil so medyo dagdag init pero it can withstand the heat..magiging malakas din ang energy discharge ng coil so mas maganda..observed ulit. kung ganyan na ginawa nyo...sa distro ka na kasi wala ka nang ibang papalitan pa..yun na lang..baka na-offset na yng rotor sa distro cap...di ko alam pala kung may replacement na distro...dapat parehong pareho maipalit mo..

Yung switch ON/OFF nakarekta sa Ignition Coil, Bypassed yung Resistor block(yung white na parang square malaki ng onti sa chocnut)
distro hunting ako ngayon sa evangelista, Pacheck ko sa saturday ang wiring. May particular wire routes kaya para masabi ko sa magchcheck? plan ko lang is battery/alternator/switch wires eh.
update ko kayo ulit pag may changes. worried ako baka si fuel pump parin kahit bago na siya.

i brought my van sa YOKOHAMA okey ba doon? parang ang mahal.
Back to start ang findings pero diko pa nadadaanan yun checkup na yun.
Silipin daw yung Fuel Tank ko P500+ tapos kung madumi ooperahan daw for P1800(waived na yung checkup na P500)

ang hirap din pala ng iba ibang consultation... Di pa ako nag dumarating sa distro, pero try ko na maghanap, pwede ba diyan nalang sa gen trias?

July 15th, 2010 10:07 AM #48medyo mahirap talaga pag iba iba ang titingin...lalo yung gagawa...ok lang kung patingin for second to several opinion...pero pagawa mo pa rin dun sa medyo marami nang ginawa sa van mo para may continuation yung ginawa nya before..alam nya yung susundan nyang troubleshooting..
ano ibig mong sabihin na kung pwede dito sa gen tri...pagawa or bili parts? sa parts, medyo di sigurado pero sa pagawa pwede..

Na reproduce nila yung pag tirik,
they all examined the fuel system, from gas tank to carb.
Okey daw lahat walang bara and they told me na it is not an electrical problem.
They want to replace my newly overhauled carb
can i just have it re overhauled ulit? nasisira ba ang carb even though bago haul siya
