    All fuel pumps have spec pressure , you need that info, then get a pressure gauge and hook them into your diag connector on your car with testing tool at a repair shop or in your garage and see the pressure. If it's a older car you will need a pressure gauge and hook it up to the pump and crank over the engine, check hoses to make sure there is no any leaks, make sure there is fuel in tank if it's elec check for power & ground at pump--- check fuses also.

    Another way to test the pump(lumang style)
    Unhook the fuel line put that sucker in a bottle and start up see how much of a flow you have, then take it from there this is the poor mans test but it will give you an idea as to how much pump pressure you have.

    update ko lang...
    after a week na galing ang van sa mekaniko di pa din nagloloko.
    galing ako gateway from laspinas and nakabalik ng okey naman..
    wala lang kumpyansa, kasi ganito din yung dati mga after weeks or
    month bago nagparamdam ulit..

    observe ko pa maigi, huwag lang sana ako itirik sa highway..

    thanks.. lalo na sa mga fuel pump advise...
    anymore suggestions?
    palitan ko na ba agad, ngayon na or observe ko pa din?..
    should i also consider cleaning fuel tank?..

    OT: gumagana fuel gauge ko, pero di na nailaw ng red pag malapit na mag empty, ano kailangan ko palitan?..

    ahy, after 4months tinirik nanaman ako kanina lang,
    anyways di ko pa napalitan fuel filter, i just thought na battery ang problem
    kasi nagpalit ako battery mga december, and everything went smooth.
    3years na pala battery ko.

    kanina sa sucat tinigil nanaman ako same situation nawalan ng hatak,
    so pinahila ko hanggang dito sa bahay mga 30min kami sa kalsada dahil malayo layo.

    pag dating ko dito sa bahay medyo na start ko pero namatay.

    papalitan ko na ang fuel pump bukas.. :D
    hinanap ko pa talaga ulit itong thread..

    okey ang naman ang alternator ko and battery.

    i still consider fuel pump based on the suggestions here,
    kaya lang ganon ba talaga ang behavior non? almost 4months
    bago ako tinirik ulit

    i am sure, it is a fuel pump problem. ganyang ganyan yung nangyari sa car nung business partner ko...

    update mo ulit yung thread para magkaalamanan na kung fuel pump talaga problema ng van mo. tska para na rin sa ibang nakaka-experience ng same symptoms. good luck para ma-solve na yang problema mo

    okey na, canvass ako ng original fuel pump.
    kuha ko is 2300 sa kingsport japan daw.

    magulo kasi nung una kong tawag sabi 1900 lang orig, pero original packaging daw meron ba non? tapos korea. yun japan nakuha ko. iba ata yung geniune sa orig. amf! hehehe weird

    ayun just an update
    -hindi ko na pinilit iistart yung van, since dami beses na ngyaring magstart uilt siya after awhile.
    -na check na ng mekaniko, baka kilala niyo si cali las pinas area. Di ko na kasi nahila sa Yokohama kay christian sa CAA.
    -binaklas yung fuel pump, ayun deadbol na yun pump kaya palit na.

    ayun lang goodluck ulit sana huwag na ako itirik.
    sabay inayos na din contact point.

    kudos sa tsikot.

    Im back
    after 14months of replacing my Fuel Pump.
    encountered again scenario 1, tumirik and nagstart after a day, bring it to manong mekaniko and nilinis nanaman ang contact point..

    Papapalitan ko na fuel pump , kaya lang natune up niya kaya doble bayad.
    Nissan vanet Gas engine...

    Sana may pangtest kung nag loloko si fuelpump
