Ano kaya Problem nito, ALTERNATOR na ba? Battery last month lang ako nagpalit. Malakas naman aircon * highspeed. Nung normal pa yung idle nya, pagkaSTART ng engine nasa 1200RPM then goes down & Stays at 800rpm AIRCON OFF (Pero ......Kung ON yung AIRCON it stays at 900rpm).
Ngayon, pagkaSTART nasa 1200RPM then goes down to 800rpm (NORMAL pag AIRCON OFF)Pero pag-ON ko ng aircon after ilang seconds lang IT DROPS to 200rpm then maririnig ko parang hirap yung engine. So i'll turn off the AIRCON nalang and it stays to 800rpm.
Ano kaya Problem ko mga Peeps.....Alternator, AIRCON, or ano kaya?
its not the timing. kung nag dro-drop ang idling speed when the a/c switches on, malamang theres something wrong with your idle-up adjuster. whats your ride ba? carb or efi?
i observed this morning, i start the engine, with no aircon. The idle is normal.
i ON the aircon, then i saw the magnetic clutch near the compressor belt sumasama sa pag ikot. pero maya-maya naiiwan kaya yung idle nya nagDrop, after this wala ng aircon. Afterwards i run the car, The AIRCON is normal na, pero when i stopped or traffic, the idle drops when the Aircon is ON, pero kung off its normal.
This i see, My Compressor is OK, nahihirapan lang sya at idle kasi low rpm, pero pag highspeed na ako, high speed na rin yung RPM ng compressor. Siguro BARADO ?

similar din ang problem ko with my civic.. nagdo-drop yung idling upon turning on the a/c.. everything is normal habang tumatakbo yung sasakyan.. pero as soon as na-traffic, nagdo-drop yung idling and nawawala yung lamig.. kasi hindi umiikot yung aux fan ng aircon.. pero if you hit it with a screwdriver or something, aandar ulit siya. hehehe..
try observing your aux fan. if my guess is correct, have it replaced or repaired.
Yun bang aux fan yung nasa likod ng condenser? Kasi umiikot yun eh. Yung fan na nasa likod ng radiatior yun di umiikot pag nakaIDLE. Possible ring pareho tayo ng case.
Magnetic Clucth ng Compressor ang nakikita kong bumibitaw pag ON ang AIRCOn. Pag off kasi yung AIRCON, di dapat sasama yung clutch nun. Kaya pag ON ng AIRCON dapat sasama sa ikot yung clutch coupled to the compressor, pero like 10 seconds lang bibitaw na yung clutch, syempre pag di sasama yung clutch na yun walang daloy ng freon kasi di umikot ang compressor.
So i would say, pag HIGH Speed or tumatakbo na yun sasakyan kumakapit yung clutch so there's AIRCON.
Ano kaya problem talaga nito? Baka this week dadalhin ko na sa CASA. Honda Cars Alabang. Okey ba dun? any bad experience, or person to recommend if meron?

hmmmmm...... malamang idle-up adjuster yan. You can check this yourself. just look for the idle-up vacuum hose see if its working. dapat meron suction when you turn the A/C on. If caburated, mas madaling hanapin ito. goodluck!
Low charge yung battery na nabili mo. Normal naman yung idle kung hindi naka on yung aircon. Pero kapag naka on yung aircon, talagang bababa ang idle dahil hindi kaya nang battery mo. Nag chacharge yung battery kung tumatakbo yung kotse mo bec. of friction, kaya normal ang idle maski naka on yung aircon. Ipa charge mo ulit.
Eto ang tamang nangyari, may pinalitan silang TENSIONER BEARING - i think sa may compressor belt ito kasi pag nakaIDLE kita ko bumibitaw talaga, pero pagHIGH SPEED na yung car ok yung aircon. PagNakaIDLE ba mabagal ang takbo nung compressor na coupled sa makina and those steering & alternator Belts? Tama ba na pag mabilis na takbo ng kotse mabilis na rin takbo ng mga belts nato? Kung tama yung sagot sa tanong kung ito, I THINK YUNG PINALITAN NILANG TENSIONER BEARING ANG NAKA SOLVE SA PROBLEM, medyo STUCK UP na yung Tensioner Bearing na yun kaya pag low speed di kaya pag highspeed kaya nya. kasi wala naman ibang pinalitan sa aircon ko eh.

hhmmm... yung tensioner bearing eh madaling masira pag malimit nababasa at pag matanda na yung bearing... based sa experience ko, 2 beses ako nabaha at dunsa second time nag ingay. mura lang naman yun, kaso lang hasle talaga.
check mo na rin baka may tubig or any liquid na pumupunta sa bearing na iyon.
regarding sa bilis ng ikot, sa tingin ko (pls correct me if I am wrong) bibilis talaga ikot nun pag mabilis ang rpm ng makina mo. ang duda ko lang eh, kung bumagal ang RPM mo pag start ng AC mo which is normal, more bagal kung may defetive bearing or defective compressor. In this case dapat compensate yung computer box mo to higher up the engine RPM.
Experience ko kasi, nung pagkagawa nung compressor ko (including that tensioner bearing), eh humina gas compsumption ko. It just proves that the engine does not compensate that much RPM due to restricting compressor.
i had the same problem before with my compressor. i had everything checked from tps, tune-up, new throttle body pero d pa rin ang idle-up.
then ang lakas sa gas. and maingay compressor, especially when it engages.
what i did is that i removed the ground of the compressor then i started the engine turnd on the ac. the rpm shoot up to 2500; w/c means the idle up is working.
the culprit...compressor. althugh the ecu sends an idle up signal to the engine, hindi kaya ng engine coz hirap sha paikutin yung compressor. which in return gives heavier engine load and decrease in fuel efficiency.
after replacing the compressor, everythings was a s good as new. :D
