some computers can be repaired depending on the burned part. you can call the shop for directions in case you still need the 2nd opinion.

hope your mechanic is reliable. my 93 corolla went through "all electronics" failing stage. the engine would suddenly stop in the middle of the road, engine warning, alternator warning. and everytime something happened, less reliable mechanics make this automatic assumption that it's the ecu that went wrong.

my final solution: i was able to sweet talk a supervisor of a toyota casa to fix it on home service basis. he fixed all the wiring and voila, all probs solved and i still have my original ecu.

imo, check first the wiring harnessl; look for shorted wires and the like. you might fry another ecu if there's a short circuit somewhere.

There r three places where u can find an ECU....Evangelista....Banawe....pag wala pa rin.....try mo na sa angeles pampanga.....usually an ECU will cost u around 25-30K brand new.....try mo rin pala from CJ Motors in Makati....importer sila of Honda parts....ilang beses na ako may nakasabay na Honda Technician na bumibili ng piyesa doon....look for richard....09187932373 or 8964152..... If you go for surplus or "chopchop" mga 12-15K ....

What I noticed is naka-light ang engine and oil indicator and other indicators whenever I try to start.

Peroi hinihiram sa amin from time to time kaya iba iba ang nagdra-drive.

What's wrong kaya?

first of all whag na whag mo ipahiram sasakyan mo, lalo na not well maintained pa siya pano kung may nangyari sa nakahiram? dating niyan kasalanan mo pa... sacrilege...

I also had the electricals and wiring harness checked and wala namang nakitang problem.

    Thanks for your help guys!
