July 20th, 2003 01:09 PM #1Why is it difficult to re-start a hot engine vs cold one (gasoline)?
Usually, pag morning (cold engine), one click lang ako.
But during hot engine re-start (ex. stop/start engine during filling, quick stop at the mall, etc), mga 2-3 times bago mag-restart. And I need to assist the engine by pumping the gas pedal.
Do you notice the same thing with your car?
Thanks,

Strange... what i encounter is usually other way around.
Is your engine carbed or EFI?

July 21st, 2003 03:31 AM #4usually caused by an overheating coil. pag mainit na yung coil it doesn't pruduce as much electricity. kung carbed ka, pwede rin na sa carb ang problem

tama si bubbles maaaring ignition coil yan. try holding the coil when your engine heats up. dapat you can hold it with your bare hands. pag hindi try putting wet basahan tapos pag malamig na start the engine. pag nag start ignition coil ang culprit.
