Wapak. Buti sana kung summer pa ngayon. I've read around naman that 5W30 is recommended fill even in the hotter parts of the U.S.

Hehe. So far okay naman. I expected hihina ng konti hatak pero I don't feel it was that way naman. Also, medyo mas naging smoother at quieter ng konti idling nya. About the FC, malaman ko pa after next week kung me natipid ako.

^10W-40 is better for the heat from traffic conditions in Manila.

The 20W-50 will give better engine protection but not performance or fuel economy.

5W-30 will make the engine run without the feeling of strangulation (if you are coming from 20W-50). Looking at the temp charts, I don't think 30 is suitable to our heat conditions. I just came from 10W30 and recently moved to 40. Toyota casa uses the 20W-50.

Toyota casa fill kasi for full synth eh 5W40 na. Since tag-ulan na kaya sinubukan ko mag-5W30 naman. Alam ko sa Bob Is The Oil Guy/ website ko nabasa yung universality ng 5W30 grade sa modern engines. Still, until December naman ito then after that balik ko ulit sa 5W40.

I'm currently using Michang's fully synthetic Micking Power Diesel CI-4 ::: WELCOM TO MICHANG OIL IND.CO., LTD :::. I spent 2k for 6 liters from a seller in sulit. I'm currently using it on my 7-year old Hyundai Matrix and my company's Hyundai H100 and so far, it outperforms the synthetic blends that I've been using for the past few years like Valvoline Premium Blue, Caltex Delo Sports and Delo 400 - for nearly the same price as blends and cheaper than other fully synthetics. Though it remains to be seen if its extended interval performance can match that of the more established fully synthetic brands like Motul, Mobil, Royal Purple, Redline, etc.

Mas mura Delo 400 dyan and it has better technical data sheet. I'll say Delo 400 is still the best diesel oil out there pound for pound for just P248/liter.
