^ nadadamay na lang yung iba kasi actually yung catch na talaga nagpapabenta dyan eh yung fuel savings ek ek IMO. Pero yeah, some fuel additives helps in cleaning and prolonging good performance of engine. Power booster afaik gray area din.

kasi nga fuel additives "to save fuel" does not work, but how about those fuel additives "to enhance fuel"??

thread title is "Re: Fuel Treatment to Enhance Fuel Economy, Power, Durability and Emission of Engine"

kasi may post doon na "fuel additives DON'T work"

now are there other fuel additives that can improve POWER, DURABILITY AND EMISSION OF ENGINE?? lets cross out the "saving factor" kasi hoax yan savings unless you don't use your car.
    Let's put it this way.

Buying an expensive additive is like buying Noni Juice at over a thousand pesos a bottle when simply buying some fruit at the "palengke" will give you the same benefits for much less.

It's like buying those MLM vitamins in super-dose sizes... 1000 mg+++ capsules of Vitamin C... when in reality your body can't even absorb that much, and it'll all go out the other end when you go to the bathroom (just like GTOil, which has three times the zinc that is considered safe for engines).

It can get even worse, if you consider octane additives... which, for hundreds of pesos, add just 1 RON to your gasoline's octane... when just spending the same amount of money on a tank of gasoline can give you an extra 5 RON (95 RON Premium versus 100 RON Blaze).

Your engine can use extra lubrication. It can use extra additives. It can use extra RON (but the only time this will gain you fuel economy is if you're using the wrong RON in the first place). But buying a separate additive for this is like buying your flouride toothpaste from Amway instead of the supermarket.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

2t works and is lab tested so I would not say all fuel additives don't work.

At least you can buy it off the shelf instead of through con-men who'll charge you an arm and a leg for it.

I wonder if rebottling it would be worth the hassle? Imagine... you've got an additive you can prove works, in a nice, shiny package...

Power and fuel economy don't mix. Either give up one for the other. Can't have both of them, whomever is thinking that a Ferrari can blast down the highway with the fuel economy of a Vios must be high on glue or something.

That being said, nothing beats a well maintained and properly tuned engine. No excuses!

Now am just waiting for somebody to jump in on the bandwagon and sell their part of the fuel economy shindig of a story!
