EURO IV Gasoline

EURO IV compliant fuels are formulated to meet European emission standards which require a maximum sulfur content of only 50ppm (parts per million). This is 90% lower than the current Philippine fuel standard which still allows maximum sulfur content of 500ppm.

Tests conducted by Unioil with the Department of Natural Resources’ Environmental Management Bureau, have shown that Euro IV Gasoline provide as much as 83% cleaner emissions compared to other fuels. In addition to this, Unioil’s Euro IV Gasoline provide significant improvement in fuel efficiency and provide the users with a cleaner engine resulting to increase in engine power and performance.

I think the petron stations in the South are cheaper at only P55+.

Unless you're the type who completely drains the gas from the tank before refilling (0.000001% chance), then lahat naman ng gas natin sa gas tank ay halo-halo.

And yes, Unioil and Petron Blaze so far are the only Euro-4 compliant gasoline fuel available in the market. As for diesels, I believe Seaoil introduced their Euro-5 compliant BioExceed dati sa 2008 but has since reverted back to being Euro-3. I guess the prestige of being Euro-5 can't justify the added cost and the lack of overall market demand.

Mas mura nga yata sa south. Petron near festival mall (yung katapat ng total), nasa 54 ung XCS nila.
