AFAIK, all diesel engine currently in the country are detuned (Kias, Hyundais, BMWs, Benz, Audis etc) from Euro 5, 4 to Euro 2, 3 to just to make sure cars from those manufacturers can run the diesels sold in the market today majority of which are Euro2.

and AFAIK, rule of adding 2t naman is not based on fuel but the CRDI system, if im correct.

I believe among the local refiners, actually only 2 (Petron and Shell) it will be Petron who could first draw the first blood of complying to the Clean Air Act mandate by 2016. I think they already have an ongoing upgrade of their refineries to meet the fuel specifications as mandated by the Clean Air Act..whilst Shell $100-150 million plan is still on the drawing board. But it is confirmed also that they will have an upgrade of their faciltity to meet the 2016 deadline. If am not mistaken the target will be a EURO IV fuel by 2016.

Anyone knows what kind of diesel Total stations have? May nagsabi lang sa akin na euro4 sila. Nagpafillup ako last week sa subic, may nakalagay na "low sulfur" sa label ng pump nila. Tinanaong ko sa attendant dun, pero di naman nila alam.

Naka tatlong full tank na ko sa unioil, so far so good. Maganda hatak, tumahimik at hindi siya tunog kuliglig sa umaga.

Isang full tank pa lang on the GS and Prado. Same feedback -- mas ok humatak (as if paubos na yung laman ng tangke, kaya magaan ang pakiramdam) and less vibration. Will see with succeeding fill ups.

Ang alam ko, blaze is pure gasoline. No methanol. Most likely euro2 parin yan. I doubt na euro4 na yan

Baka may inside contact siya sa petroleum industry kaya nasabi niya na Euro IV compliant na blaze. Only Blaze. Ung iba Euro II pa sa ngayon..... Anyway, I'll ask him details nabanggit lang kasi niya.
