Ask ko lang kung meron na ditong nakapagengine transplant ng honda civic LXI '97 nila? Anu-anu bang engine ung compatible sa kanya and anu pa ung ibang papalitan kung sakali? How inabot ng engine transplant niyo?

aabutin mga 40K lahat lahat
sa kumpare ko inabot ng 45k isang buong makina sinalpak namin from AT to manual..1.6 AT vtec dati..pinalitan namin ng D15 pang EK kaunting re wiring lang ayun ok na...wala kasi kaming makitang PH16 na orig dito sa atin..kung surplus daw talaga D15 ang orig na surplus japan..

September 27th, 2016 09:45 AM #4Mga bos pahelp naman, yung 97 civic lxi matic ko kase ng overheat nung minsan tapos tumigil sa daan, na drain yung tubig. tpos ng sa mekaniko ang problema pala yung sa thermostat tpos parang may konting konti tama sa cylinder ata pero pwedi panaman daw.. ang ginawa rekta nalang rad fan pag on ng engine on dn agad fan.. tapos im running it ng walang thermostat.. tanong ko lang if hindi ba tataas fuel consumption ko dito nyan? .. salamat

personally saw someone put in a b20b engine (from a gen1 crv early model) into his civic vti. pwede rin siempre b20z (gen1 crv late model). pero madalas ata yung pang civic sir nilalagay which is b16.

September 27th, 2016 03:58 PM #6tataas fuel consumption mo bro, lalo na kung gumagana pa yung auto-choke ng makina mo. mas matagal kasi uminit makina kaya matagal na naka rich mixture yung air-fuel ratio mo.
ibalik mo yung engine thermostat at paganahin yung thermoswitch. yung thermoswitch, para mag ON lang rad fan kapag mainit makina (less load pa sa alternator at mas tatagal buhay ng rad fan).
pinaka efficient ang makina kapag nasa optimum operating temperature siya. kaya nandiyan yung thermostat at thermoswitch para sila yung mag set na palaging nasa operating temp ang makina.

September 27th, 2016 04:07 PM #7sa akin nilagyan ko siya ng extra switch kaunting wiring lang ang kakailanganin .kapag talagang sobrang tindi ng init at naka ipit ka sa trapik ng halos 1-2 hours.dun ko na i ON ung switch ng rad fan para rekta siya...pero kung normal naman ang weather natin .hindi mainit at hindi ka naka trapik.i switch off ko lang siya at balik sa orig wiring ng thermo ung at rad fan.

Medyo pricey yung B16 or B18 for an engine transplant. 6 figures pinag-uusapan dito.
Because pinoy mentality. Not surprising.
