i was checking my ignition wires kanina with an ohm-meter and.. i'm not sure if i re-connected the wires to the distributor in the correct order :P

because now, it won't start at all. the starter motor cranks continuously, but the engine doesn't catch. i also cleaned the contacts, etc. with contact cleaner and i'm not sure if that affected things..

where can i find the correct wiring order of the spark plugs (2.0L mazda 626 FS-E 4-cyl engine)? or should i leave this one to the pros..

Check your manual or on the sticker under the hood, it should be there....if its not....try 1-3-4-2 order (this is the normal firing order of 4 cylinder engines).

Locate the markings of the number 1 in the distributor cover.

Tip: Next time clean each plug one at a time or mark it with a pen before removing the plugs all together.

    Good luck.

    Just my 2 cents.
