Diesel owners that add 2T oil to fuel

Bro, ok ba yung PTT 2T JASO FC oil? i bought a liter of that this afternoon. Before, i was using Havoline and Shell Decarb 2T's.

Ok lang yan, i currently use a 4m41 engine, and it runs smoothly and less smoke compared to my other 2 4m41 engines. Basta stick to the 1:200 ratio.....yo are good to go.......

tried it rin, im confident to say that the engine runs more "swabe" than kapag walang 2t oil..

good read, btw the gas boys were very puzzled when I asked them to put 2t oil in my fuel tank haha

Diesel + high sulfur content = good lubrication

Tried it to my pajero EFI good results idling rpm dropped from 900 - 750 and engine feels more quiet and responsive. If only I'll be brave enough to try it on my CRDI's.

Doc, how about tractor hydraulic fluid (ex. Donax TD & Mobilfluid 424) as an additive to diesel fuel? does it have the same effect with that of ATF?

ATF is nothing but transmission fluid already, just like you can use it in your power steering pump. So chemically yes you can use it but it's designed for low temp transmission operation. There's no tractor going 100kh. Secondly there is no real way without chemical testing to know the percentage of friction modifiers they have in it and is it less or more than normal transmission fluid.

If it's less it's pointless to add it. I only put products that are specifically designed for my transmission, Lubegaurd is what I use. And it's also used by most dealers here and transmission rebuild shops for rebuilt transmissions. It's the only additive I have found over the years worth it's salt. Transmission

I've added a 200ml Petron 2T to our age-old family car Toyota Corolla 1.6Gli. Used it as a guinea pig. Filled the tank(full).

Idling is much better. Engine noise was..well it lessened a bit. Improved response was noticeable after.

Bro FB rated na rin ginagamit ko kasi nga no need for FC rating.

More smoke IMO. Ganun naman nangyayari kapag engine is eating engine oil diba. Not really bad since 2.5% lang pala nalagay mo if 200ml sa 80 liters.

When i started using 2T, pangalawa or pangatlong pa-gas with 2T...nung pauwi nako sa office, ayaw magstart! Hindi ko alam kung nagkataon lang pero umandar naman after bleeding...Tapos nangyari ulit...Replaced the fuel filter na para sure...Until now, wala nang naging problem...Im still using it and Im satisfied with the results...

that's my theory on engines that had problem initially when adding 2T, that the detergents of 2T might clogged some engines initially.
well, since there no other major issue arising from when mixing 2T to the diesel fuel, aside from additional cost.

anu po yung engine nio, baka po CRDi gen3 na yan?
basta po prior 2007 ang engine good to go na kayo just follow the standard ratio recommendation na 1:200 then bahala pag medyo matagal na kayo na mag-adjust sa ratio.
