actually last year april din nung nag palit ako ng fuel filter..... every 10k or 1yr ako nagpapalit. sa bandang 1/4-1/2 level na stuck up fuel gauge kaya wait pa ako hangan ma reach doon sa level pag naglagay na ako. will keep you posted.

^ kung stuck ng yung gauge, pano mo naman malalaman na aabot na doon yung diesel mo?

ni reset ko ung trip meter nung huling full tank ko sir cb. kaya pag umabot ng 300km un eh alam ko na near empty na.![]()
a little off topic.... for those who are regular users of 2T, do you still use a diesel purging or treatment system to flush out carbon deposits that had build-up? or using 2T will suffice.

Sir ano ginamit mong brand na diesel fuel treatment? ung cyclo kasi nasa Php360 per 200ml bottle baka meron mas mura....![]()
IMO, no need. Carbon once deposited needs mechanical cleaning not unless you're using DPF that burns the soot every regen cycle.
I use 2T to guarantee lubricity but i'm more concered with cleanliness.
High pressure commonrail works on tight clearances and were dealing about as little as 2microns and some water to destroy the fuel system. Ph belongs to the supply chain of dirties fuels, the contamination starts from materials handling - transport to storage.. I'd still go for good filtration than additives.
A friend of mine asked me what if you stopped using 2T? what are the effects and would your engine suffer for it? I was thinking that it would just revert back to its original state prior to adding 2T but I am now wondering whether there would be some other effect as well. To the gurus, care to share your expertise on this matter?

Check your engine pressure rating sir. Pag 1800bar up hindi na advisable lagyan.

been doing this for almost 2 weeks now on our 2013 montero,initial observation
-engine became more responsive and running smoother
sa fc eh hindi ko pansin,hindi kasi ako mahilig magcompute ng fc,tried this also sa innova namen once and ganun din mas naging smooth yung engine 1st fill plng but in my observation mas maganda yung 2t ng shell compared sa unioil.
yes sir,so far engine feels smoother and as ive back read days before i tried this i think european crdi cars lang ang hindi pwede correct me if im wrong though and i think the latest crdi's lang din i also read some montero owners doing this so i gave it a shot and its worth naman.still observing kung mas pipino pa yung engine with this.
tanchahan lang sir eh basta every 10 liters of fuel ko eh 50ml dahil may bote ako ng 100ml kaya madali tanchahin pero sa unang lagay ko medyo dinagdagan ko ng konti dahil may excess fuel pa bukod sa ipapakarga mo kaya tinancha ko na lang din.back read ka sir may computation sila lalo na sa unang lagay.
