Are there any noticeable effects or benefits between using jaso fb & jaso fc 2SO in diesel cars such as fortuner?

Price difference is night & day
So may be i could assume the effects/performance
    Is also night & day?

Used both before, I don't see significnt ifference to justify the price disparity imho.

Earlier posts of devildoc indicates that fb rated is ok. There is no difference when it comes to fb rated and fc rated.

Here's why, the FC is low ash oil meaning it has a lower Zinc content (zinc when burt makes ash) which can cause deposits in 2 stroke engines. Here's why it's not applical in the application were are using it for one is the compression ratio and combustion temps in a diesel engine and volume of air flow through the engine will push most the unburnt ash out through the exhaust and what is left out your exhaust and the oil will collect the rest.

Here's the other kicker, Diesel oil already has a very high zinc content and is getting burnt in your combustion chamber thanks to that handy EGR and the breather hose that recirullates air back into your intake, If you don't have a oil catch can your already getting oil vapor back into the combustion chambers. So there is almost zero difference if your using 2T that is not FC because if you have a functional EGR system on your diesel or have not added a oil catch can, your still burning zinc and making ash. No harm no foul.

Lastly the sheer act of burning diesel makes ash and soot, so it's a moot point, suprised my little brain did not wrap around this earlier

If your running Synthetic oil then your still burning those same particles via the same method, But it would make no sence to use synthetic. Use the Cheapest 2T you can find because the results will be about the same.

clarify lang sir, if you have a working EGR, then you can opt not to use an oil catch can as an accessory?

Yes, the OCC may even extedn the cleaning phase of the EGR and prevent it from getting stuck in an open position which is a bad thing. Okay sana kung closed position.

Sir Ry, we have already "blanked" the egr of my 4m40, will it make sense if i again "revive" it? I already have an OCC installed as well. TIA

FC was recommended from pharagraph 1.
Due to high zinc content from diesel it is the same if not using FC grade. - From pharagraph 2.

Use of cheapest 2t hence it will be the same as using synthetic oil that contributes ash & sooth.

kung lilinisin mo egr wag ka gagamit ng carb cleaner sisirain nito yung position sensor. linis mo na lang siguro may faulf code sa egr.

Sorry guys... It's a loooong thread so i have to as a question that's probably been asked pages ago.
Just want to double check. Pwede ba to sa bagong Pajero? I know sa earlier pages, sinabi na yung jap crdi's dpa katulad ng korean and euro crdi's na umaabot ng 24k psi yung pressure. Just want to verify kung kasali ba dito yung Pajero engine ko, or even better, if anyone is successfully running 2t in theirs.

Yes, the manual says 4m41. Pareho lang ba yun exactly? I mean, being in 2 different car models, are there differences to consider between their fuel systems, perhaps different turbos if that's even part of the equation? Pasensya, di kase ako ganun ka familiar sa cars and engines, mechanically speaking.
TheGreenThing: sa Aussie4x4 forums marami din gumagamit pero sa nabasa ko, mostly older engines.

Alot of guys in SA4x4 forum are swearing the use of 2SO in diesel.. Meanwhile here in tsikot 99% of the users are happy.. Ano ba talaga dapat?

Diesel owners that add 2T oil to fuel
