Diesel owners that add 2T oil to fuel

pwede din pala sa gas engine? pwede kaya sa 2008 focus 1.8?

I've been also using 2t in our 2004 civic for about three months now. The engine seems smoother but no noticeable change in power and acceleration. Same is true when it comes to fuel consumption.

I've tried caltex 2t and the fc rated PTT brand. The latter seems better. My ratio is 1 ml per liter, using 97 octane fuel from seaoil or petron xcs.

I think so, as long as it is not GDI but that's just my opinion. In any case, the ratio used is considerably smaller than diesel. I remember that the said ratio is merely used to counteract the drying effects of ethanol in the fuel system.

Its safe, the more diesel u burn the more power you will make. There is no point in unburnt. Fuel. Black smoke is money out of your pocket.

Is there study on the impact of the burning 2T oil on Humans?
If the tail pipes became sticky because of 2T.
How about our Lungs.
Baka mas masahol pa yan sa usok ng sigarilyo.

If our lungs did got those sticky oil,
I'm sure, those cough syrup companies will be VERY happy.

I already heard some company try to sell 2T oil
made from vegetable oil. Better siguro, if from olive oil or coconut oil.
Why would they introduce that?

I used to live in Quiapo and suffers a lot of lung related problem during the 70's~80's.
The pollution index in Mercury Drug store in Quiapo church does not work.
Because the air is filthy. It very seldom report a good index.

Maybe once in a while ok yun 2T. But not to use it regularly.
Same reason 2T tricycle engine is being phased out.
The government could not regulated the quality and quantity.

There were stories Jeepney drivers re-uses dirty engine oil.
Just filtering out the dirty particles. If you happen to touched these
dirty oil in your hands, you will notice that it's itchy.

If the Jeepneys been doing these, some 2-stroke tricycle
surely, might be using used car motor oil to replace fresh 2T oils.
My daughter usually suffer from clogged nose
when she passes from a tricycle infested area.

Most of the old jeeps, have damaged piston rings,
and these oils leak out, burn it with the diesel.
these are pollutants are injested to the public.

Just for though, LUNG related death is the highest killer in our country.

Good point but if you think of it, 2T is just a lubricanf for both motorcycles whenused in 2-cycle engines and in diesels as we do. It is not to be sold sana if harmful to humans since early times karamihan ng motor ay 2-strokes.

Moreso, kung nakakabwas siya sa unbunt fuel due to the lesser smoke that we see, it means it is doing a better job for the environment as well. Kaya nga masakit sa mata esp yung white smoke.

2T makes you burn more diesel giving you less hydrocarbon output, that's a simple fact. You should be using it every tank, This is a diesel engine not a gas engine it's not the same type of combustion process and not being mixed with gas but diesel, night and day difference.

Newbie here po....mga bossing...after reading the whole thread(75 pages)isa na lang tanong ko po....bago po ba ako maglalagay ng 2T oil (first attemp) sa tangke..dapat din bang magpalit muna ng fuel filter at linisin ang fuel injectors.considering na 10 years na po itong 4ja1 engine pero kapapa calibrate ko last year ng injection pump sabay na rin ung pag papalinis ng mga injectors...fuel filter napalitan na rin 3 months ago.....i have this in mind na considering na old na itong engine..baka magbara sa filter, or sa injectors or sa injection pump..causing the engine na magloko or palayado ang andar ng sasakyan kagaya nang na experience ng isang nag post dito sa thread..Thanks in advance...God bless....

Kahit yung fuel filter lang muna palitan mo if malapit na din 10,000kms na gamit mo sa kanya. Pero if bago pa no need naman palitan. To check if okay fuel mo, get a few ml from your tank in the morning para makita mo sediments sa fuel tank.

Mga sir...sa mga hilander owners using 2T oil....ilan po bang liters ang tangke natin...tama po ba ang mixture na 200ml ng 2T=full tank diesel(yung sagad po, yung kita na po ung diesel sa bunganga ng tangke)..salamat po..ingat po kayo sa daan....God bless...

Did a test with my sound meter, engine is 9 decibels louder without 2t, and my ignition of shutter is significantly harsher. Engine is definetly not as smooth and rpms are 100rpms higher without 2t..
