    my 1997 Kia Sportage RF TDI 4x4 had a very poor FC. Computed 7km/liter (city driving) with AC ON, driving in a very light traffic.
    Maganda ba ang andar? No excessive white ot black smoke?
    No Black Smoke, Ok ang Acceleration, Start/Cold Start, top speed 115Kph. Matakaw lang talaga sa Crudo

    Injectors was calibrated twice this year Why was injector calibration done 2X in one year?
    Nagdududa ako sa 1st probably pinagperahan lang ako, pakita ng resibo kunwari, so the 2nd mechanic Recalibrate but he shown to me na maitim na ang nozzle at magaspang na

    Injection pump is new (1 year old) New pump has the same part number as the original pump? YES

    Fuel Lifters is new (1 mo old) What do you mean by fuel lifters? Opps my bad, its Diesel Primer Pump both Filter and P Pump are Bnew
    Air Filter is new (2 weeks old)
    Engine Oil is new (10w-30 wid X1R)
    Oil Filter is new (4 months old)

    its suppose to be driving at 12km/liter malayo masyado sa 7km/liter.

    1.) anu at saan kaya ang may problema? bakit lakas uminom ng sportage ko?
    Bbaka wala sa timing ang injection pump. Hanap ako ng Mekaniko para dito

    2.) ipa recalibrate ko ulit? kxi nakakaduda ang 2 calibrations
    Dapat once lang ang injector calibration kung kumpleto sa test equipment and test data ang diesel workshop.

    3.) totoo kaya baka butas na masyado injectors neto? (220k nsa odometer)
    Papalitan ko na ang nozzles kung 220k na ang tinakbo nito. Tama Lagi Laspag na ang mga injectors


    Follow-up Questions

    1.) Magkano Budget ko para sa 4 na nozzles? 700 daw kada nozzle?
    2.) Pati ang pagpapa Timing ng Injection Pump magkano kaya?

    Hindi ko alam ang tamang nozzle part number........can't give you a price.
    2.) Pati ang pagpapa Timing ng Injection Pump magkano kaya?
    Can't quote, dapat makita muna ang engine para ma-estimate ang labor. Bihira pumasok sa amin ang '97 Sportage.

    Ganito yan para madali mo maintindihan at i-explain mo sa casa.

    Di kailangan na magpermanent na check engine light ka para malaman nila na may problema. Ibig sabihin na nag check engine light ka, may problema na sasakyan mo pero intermitent pa ito for the meantime kaya ganun rin ang pag ilaw nya.

    Ipa scan mo ang sasakyan mo sa pinakamadaling panahon bago pa mag permanente na ilaw yan.

    Sa totoo lang, ang engine or ecu scanning ay dapat kasali sa PMS ng mga sasakyan na may ecu, kasi kahit di man umilaw ang check engine light, may mga errors yan na naka log sa memory.

    Sa scanning mo rin makikita kung fuel efficient pa sasakyan mo at yung mga threshold/limits ng mga sensors mo.

    Tama si siopaona toasted. Meron kang intermittent fault.

    Normally, makikita ng scan tool ang fault ng car kahit off ang check engine light dahil naka save ang fault sa computer box as passive or historic event.
    Mabubura ang passive faults ng scan tool, o sa pagtanggal ng battery connection for a few minutes. Hindi mabubura ang active faults.

    baka po dyan ko nalang ipadala for repair and check up nung CAR ko na diesel na kinargahan ng gasolina..
