Well, if you order from overseas, you can spend just 20,000 pesos. Then pay the shipping and customs yourself...

Only way to get them "affordable" is to buy refurbished. And refurbished will still cost you more than a brand new injection nozzle for an old-school diesel.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Yup thats why some calibration centers call CRDIs as disposable engines and pinaarte lang.

Hehe we are getting off-topic. well it happens.

I'll second on that. Altough the CRDis aren't exactly so die-hard as the old-school Diesels, they're still cheaper in the long run than a gasser.

More expensive, but taking into account the savings on fuel, longer intervals between PMS and for an eventual engine overhaul, it's still not bad at all.

hindi ba same ang PMS interval ng diesel at gas engine? di ba parang mas madalas ka nga magpalit ng langis kapag diesel kasi mabilis dumumi?

I have two cars, identical models, but one is a gasser, the other one a diesel. Cost of maintanance and ownership for both is the same ... in my personal experience.
