i had a 1997 pajero and i loved it. maintennance was not that big a deal. especially if you know where to get replacement filters and other parts. kung casa gamitin mo, mahal talaga.

pag wala sira ang engine, just running cost, mag mura ang diesel. it just depends on what fluids ilalagay mo.

kung puro mamahalin fluids ilalagay mo, mapamahal ka talaga, if you go bare minimum to run your diesel vehicle, mas mura diesel, fluids at filter lang pinapalitan. walang spark plug, contact point, condenser, pinapalitan

I don't consider ignition system components as part of "regular maintenance". Our 323 is over 7 years old and those parts that you mentioned has yet to be replaced.

Plugs? Every 10K or so. Some (like for the Rav4 & Cefiro) are good for 100K kms.

i prefer diesel engine, pag tumirik ka, wala ka na ignition system alahanin, minsan tulak tulak lang ok na. parang may peace of mind ako, paying a bit more for that is fine with me.

running cost per see, halos parehos lang, sabihin natin mas mahal ang consumables, pero pa offset ata ng price ng fuel pag dito sa pinas

Ride is 2001 Isuzu Higlander POWER XTRM TRM TRM ala Centurions the cartoons hehehe
    Expenses every 5K (DIY)
4 liters Delo Gold MultiGrade = Php550 (Much cheaper if I use the Delo Silver)
    Oil Filter = Php200
    Fuel Filter = Php180
    Fuel Mileage = 10-12km/lt
Simple Suspension Setup but sturdy enough for Phil Road Condition. No regular replacement of stabilizer like that of any sort. And also parts are much cheaper.
