hi
on my dmax, just noticed that my oil in dipstick level was reduced by around 1/4 (measured in the morning before startup on level ground). it has only been 1500km since my 25000kms pms where it was even filled slightly above max by isuzu-pasig. it has never done this in the past
also i see some smoke/vapor coming out of the dipstick insert port and oil filler port but not much as you have to be in a certain angle or lighting to see it,is this mormal for diesel?, (is this a sign of blow-by like in a gas engine).
made no changes in my driving habits. the only thing i can think of that might affect my oil consumption is my choice of oil. from the mandatory engine oil provided be gencars, i bought from ace hardware the mobil delvac mx. i changed my casa to isuz-pasig since they allow use of owner's oil. thats it.
diesel experts, please advise if there is something wrong with my dmax pickup. if there is, i want to bring it to the attention of isuzu asap.
thank you
Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
high idle RPM at engine start
