will it be advisable to change engine from carb type to efi, since minimal na nagbebenta ng gas na hindi e10. my car is corolla xe, engine is 2e, mga magkano magagastos if magpapalit ng engine. and possible ba

I have long pondered about it too, pero yung mga EFI engine na puwede sa bigbody like 4EF(T)E, 4AFE, 4AGE, ay di rin designed for E10.
Ang nakikita ko lang na possible solution is to convert it to LPG, or just run a mix of E10 and non-E10 premium fuel para bumaba concentration ng ethanol kahit paano maging E5 or something. Pag wala na talagang non-E10 fuel, well bahala na. E10 kung E10. It's just not worth putting an LPG kit in such an old car.

bro any idea how much will it cost kung mag pa pa lpg tayo, including the kit and yung labor

Sa akin, E-10 na ang pinapakarga ko sa corolla XL big body ko since last year. So far during cold start, minsan umaabot ako ng 5 attempts bago tuluyang mag-start ang makina.

diba parang hindi practical kung magchange engine ka because of e10 fuels? wala na tayong magagawa sir about the e10 issue since lahat ng gas companies is subject to produce/sell e10 by 2011.
tama si sir tanatej, lpg is the way to go. kaso, lpg converted engine still relies on gasoline during starting. nonetheless, makakatikim pa din ng e10 ang engine. pwede din diesel, pero bagong auto na talaga ang kailangan pag ganun. hehehe

di daw advisable ang lpg kit sa mga carbed engine sabi ng techician na pinag-inquire-ran ko. wala daw benefit bukod sa lower ang cost ng lpg. pero wala ka rin daw mabe-benefit sa low cost ng lpg dahil mas magiging malakas ang consumption mo. hihina din daw ang power mo ng up to 10%. mas advisable lang daw ang lpg convertion sa mga efi.
Will they risk kaya to have it installed with a traditional 4speed AT? Just like what they did...
