none of his cars are ceramic coated.

as for the protection... sino naman maglalakas loob to see if may naitulong daw yung coat

    years ago, along evangelista makati,
i haven't gone back to evangelista since.
also, walang paradahan most of the shops there.

    yes,
it's cheaper and easier in youtube.
but one does have to be aware of... bias reporting.

Yes yes.. pero maganda test methods ni projectfarm.. not sponsored and tries to remove all bias sa test.. makikita which brands perform across the price range.. surprising that some cheap brands are way better than expensive brands..

kaya you need to make it known to them may alam ka para di ka bolahin

recently i helped a friend whose car had a coolant leak

a mechanic quickly concluded kailangan palitan ng water pump even without checking thoroughly

sabi ko silipin niya mabuti coz the leak isn't coming from the pulley side of the engine

ayun the leak was coming from this (encircled):

    the thermostat gasket? cheap fix.
    heh heh.

i once had this sentra with mysterious chronic loss of coolant. (different story from my aux fans.).
it was a young mekaniko, who finally traced it to a leaking finger-size length of rubber hose. it was hiding under the intake manifold.
had the engine been installed in the classic manner of olde RWD and not FWD-style, that hose would have been very visible.
    heh heh.

    because it's plastic,
    is it safe to assume,
    it's cheap?

    my pet peeve,
    "bakit kulang nang turnilyo ito?"

    sa tyre shop,
whenever i ask for a plastic valve cover, they always readily give me one.
obviously, that cover comes from somewhere... old pitos?
    heh heh.

anyway. so far, ok naman ako sa Honda Makati. my only complain is that naka tutok sa driver yung vents ko tapos full blast yung AC when its time to pick-up the car.

funny story (last July lang) I remembered when I saw the tire rotation story...

I told the SA to replace 1 rear mags, na-gutter kasi ni misis. then I asked them to just leave the old mags (yung may gasgas sa trunk)

Tech 1 - rotated my tires
Tech 2 - replaced the mags sa likod as per the job order

3pm tumawag si SA na ready na car ko for pick-up
3:10pm tumawag ulit si SA. he was checking the job done and asked me kung bakit ko daw pinapalitan yung rear mags. kasi yung nasa harap ung puro gasgas. I told him, iisa mags ko na may gasgas! so malamang sila naka sira nung front mags ko.

    then he checked the trunk...
pinalitan nila is yung maayos na mags

    i wonder,
    instead of verbally giving instructions,
would it help if we gave them a piece of paper on which is written in very clear letters, exactly what we want done?
    with ordered numbers, even?
    heh heh.

    back in the day,
we used to experiment with our traditional non-electronic engines, using diesel oil with appropriate characteristics naman, in lieu of gasoline engine oil.
    ok naman.
but we tired of it, and eventually just followed the crowd.
