Kinda hard to compare. Almost like apples and oranges. First, for the same displacement, the EFI engine will give you more power and yet be fuel efficient... it jsut depends on how you drive.

A carb engine can either be tuned for power or efficiency but hard to do both well, it will always be a compromise if you want both.

Comfort, heck, a new car is still much better.
