1. I own 2010 Camry G... casa maintained every 5K... with 12K on the odometer.
2. I had a warning light (actually spelled out in the info display): Low Oil Pressure
3. Check oil and it was in the right level... and NO overheat
4. Brought to casa thinking its just a reset in the computer
5. After 2 days trying to isolate the problem... Service adviser tells me that engine has to be opened through the Valve cover (which lead me to this thread)
6. Casa is efficient in servicing my car and have repeatedly informed that I have nothing to pay, though I know they are just trying to manage me instead of me complaining (though will take 1-2 weeks)

With what I read, and what they are doing, it seems its like oil sludge, pero para naman sobrang aga :-(
Will my car be reliable enough after this?... back of my head feeling the engine was already opened... family car ko pa naman for out of town trips.

If there is any consolation, I have nothing to pay... and they say they will fix it properly.... I did ask for documentation, the least thing they can do.
Make sure you now what really happened so that you can ask their specific advice on how to prevent it from happening again. So that when it does, it should be repaired free of charge again.
