oil is directly affected by dirt entering the air intake of the car. that's why racers running open air intakes (no filter) replace their oil more often coz mabilis dumumi ang langis nila.

On my rig, paper air filter replacements are prescribed every other oil change. Otherwise, cleaning with compressed air is recommended.
But since I use replacement air filters, I can afford to change at every oil change.
