ae92 idle prob...

my car's idle speed is set *600 rpm but sometimes it goes up to 1000rpm and stays there. minsan pag ni-off ko yung engine then ni-start ko ulit, nasa 600rpm yung idle speed pero once na ni-rev ko yung engine, babalik uli sa 1000rpm and di na bumababa. aircon on or off, alang diff. what could be the prob? car is ae92, 4-af all stock.

Check on these:

1) Fuel Injection - might need cleaning already
2) vaccum solenoid valve - have it checked
3) ecu - have it checked
4) fuel lines - might need cleaning
5) tune up - hey, the simplest solution are often overlooked

in my case, the fuel injector was the culprit so i had it cleaned at the casa. :wink:

..............all you have to do is check mo yung idle up...............maaring sira na kaya nagbabago yung minor mo...........

lapit lang pala shop nyo sa house ng barkada ko. pag nadaan ako dyan baka sa inyo ko din pa-check idling ng ae92 ko. me privilege ba pag tsikot.com members? ehehehe. :lol:

its normal to reach your idling at 2k rpm at cold starts.
