September 25th, 2003 12:04 AM #3yup. Trooper engine since at least 1999. It's a pretty powerful turbo-intercooler, multivalve, direct injection. Matipid din sa fuel consumption. Medyo mausok kung bibiglain mo.

June 18th, 2004 08:19 PM #10yung 03 trooper ng kaibigan ko, tumirik sa angeles, umabot ng 5K rpm,ayaw na bumaba. Hanggang ngayon, nasa shop pa. Tinanong ko yung kaibigan kong isuzu service advisor, duda niya baka overhaul na yan kasi affected ang injectors, although guess lang daw kasi di naman doon sa casa ng kilala ko pinasok. According to the casa naman saan pinasok yung trooper, marami na rin daw silang trooper with this engine na ganito ang problema. Ganun ka sensitive ang makinang ito?
