the Germans have always been known for their engineering precision.

Why do they remind me of the Borg?

It's just the 9-2X, because it's a rebadge of the Impreza. All other Saabs still use their proprietary low pressure turbo engines.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Mercedes really doesn't have anything new for 06. 5.5 V8, the supercharged versions, and the 6LV12 and Bi-turbos are nothing new. But the for 07, MB tuning division AMG has a whole new V8. Light weight with more torque and comprable hp than BMWs V10. Then again, the new engine was exclusively developed by AMG which is subsequently owned by MB. So who really owns it, don't know.

yeah, GM had a 20 percent stake in Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru's parent company), so I guess the Saabaru was one of the concessions FHI had to make. They were also selling Foresters in India as Chevrolet Foresters (argh, i think i'm gonna barf!). Thankfully, Toyota has since bought that stake from GM so 2006 should be the end of Saabaru. GM had one of the best engines and 4WD systems in the world at its disposal, and that was the best they could do.
