April 17th, 2013 08:59 PM #111. 25 amps? ano yan, pang-beetle? heh heh.
2. yes, it is more practical to replace the entire alternator than re-winding it.
3. yes, you can rely on your built-in audio fuse, but this will entail pulling out the thing just to replace the busted fuse. in fact, you will have to pull out the thing just to check if the fuse is busted or not. i suggest you put in a fuse block. it's more practical to service than anything. besides, you have an owner.. lotsa space there..
4. can the wires take it? the wires to the appliance can probably take it, because the deciding factor is the appliance, not the battery or the alternator. but i suggest you upgrade your wires to and from the alternator, and check the main battery cables and the ground.. routine things.. and since you have an owner, it's very easy to do this..
5. when in doubt, consult a professional. they're cheaper than a burned owner jeep..Last edited by dr. d; April 17th, 2013 at 09:02 PM.

IMO same 12volts pa din ang output ng alternator mo at battery... no effect at all po yan... even if you use a bigger battery... OR a higher amp alternator.. same output 12-14.8volts... the output is regulated by the alternators IC....
masisira lang yan kapag 24v battery ang gamit nyo...

Imagine mo lang na kung ilan megawatt generator gamit sa supply ng Meralco para sa bahay natin. Wala naman problem sa atin.
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
