After weeks of dillydallying, finally had my power windows checked by zaldy's. My verdict:

    1. Ok naman yung troubleshooting and diagnosis nila. They were able to convince me na motor nga yung problema when I was arguing that it might just be the switch. The guy's offer na hindi ko kailangan magbayad if cleaning the motor did not work also might have a major part in convincing me though.

    2. Guarantee / warranty - average. I ended up replacing one of the actuators for the power locks, and they gave me a 3 month warranty. Walang warranty yung repair for power windows since nilinis lang naman yung motor.

    3. Workmanship - above average. Mabilis and pulido gumawa.

    4. Price - FAIL. They charged me 800 for the actuator - I later found out na you could buy a set of four for the SAME price. Plus they charged me 450 for cleaning the power window mechanism motor - half the price of a surplus unit.

Mukha kasing hagdanan yung nasa harap nila. Tnx!

3 windows fixed by Zaldy's this morning. Both driver side windows had broken cables. The passenger side front door switch on the main board was dirty kaya di umaakyat puro baba lang. Damage 450 per cable replacement and 200 for switch cleaning.

Verdict: Highly recommended for power window repairs

sana may magpost pa dito other repair shops na di taga ang price. how bout you sir snoopy, san sa taguig yung sabi mong best?

Maybe I'll give Zaldy's another chance - actually wala akong choice since all my windows just stopped working and zaldy's lang ang pinakamalapit sa amin na nagspecialize sa power window repair. I'll post feedback here once I get the windows done.

No sir, I found out that my power window relay was busted and after replacing it, the windows worked again. I might pass by Zaldy's again to have one of my locks checked, but this time ako na bibili nung actuators or buy surplus ones instead if they need replacing.

I just saw this thread yesterday since I'm looking for a trustworthy and reputable auto lock repair in Evangelista.

I must say that Zaldy's is the real deal. Had an actuator replaced yesterday. It's the door behind the driver. They told me if it can be fixed, they will fix it instead of replacing since it might still be the original part. Kaso basag na actuator ko.

Bottomline it was a quick replacement. Pulido gumawa. They charged me 650. Natawaran ko pa.

My driver side window got stuck open yesterday late afternoon.

Hurriedly went to Zaldy’s along South Superhighway to check. Sabi niya need palitan ung buong switch assembly. Cost will be 6.5k! Sabi ko isara mo na lang muna.[emoji23] Which he did and charged me 500 for the diagnosis and help (off hours na rin).

Magagawa ba sa Wizzards ito? Any recommendations? Parang quick fix ung remove ang replace agad-agad.

Yup magagawa sa Wizzard yan. Had my previous car’s window fixed there many years ago. Forgot lang how much it cost, but I doubt it reached P6.5k.

    what model car, po?
some cars have so many surplus piyezas around, one can easily get replacements for the broken parts, tingi style.
other cars naman, one is not so lucky. one has to buy the entire assembly.
and still other cars, replacement parts are difficult to come by. one might have to go casa.

    switch?
    mukhang assembly nga yan.
    surplus versus brand new.
    heh heh.

    good luck.

the last time i had mine fixed, they replaced the motor with a surplus unit.

    OT.
    i have noticed many times,
some car drivers do not lower their glass windows down, at the mall parking toll gate.
instead, they open their doors to transact business.

^How much did it cost you doc? San mo pinagawa? Yung switch for the driver’s window ayaw gumana, kahit papaano ko pa siya pindutin. Pero ung switch for other windows on the driver side gumagana. So I think baka ung isang switch lang talaga.
