He is not my BF yet. I asked him if he knows about cars and he said "a bit"I don't think I can count on him for these things.Rare na talaga yung manly man. I almost fried my Lancer before, I tried to series is with my corolla pero mali ata kabit ko
Nawawala na yung jumper cable ko pero I need to buy nga. How much is that for now?
Ako nagtatanggal ng battery ko pag dinadala ko sa shop, I don't mind getting my hands dirty eh nasa bahay naman ako.
What is a good brand of jumper cable?
Get the one with high current rating, if the price difference is not that much... Although for cars, 200A should be just about right. Pag diesel kasi,- mas malaking current rating ang kailangan... May brand na mahal (forgot the name),- with instructions pa,- just get a pic of that for the procedure on connecting and disconnecting, and then buy the cheaper brand....
I hate to correct anyone here, but my engg background is pushing me, as this is always the phrase being used....
You are actually putting the batteries in parallel connection (+ to + ; and - to -), not series.....

Apply ka kung papasa.. LoL
Delikado yang mga "a bit" na yan, try to observe him baka mas manly ka pa. haha kiddin..
Booster/Jumper cable cost P599.75 brand is Areva HD300A 12 feet, 300Amps, AWG6 Booster Cable, alligator clamps. Made in France daw
Actually maling mali yung term ng mekaniko na "series" when in fact ang tamang term is PARALLEL.. Malamang literally sineries mo yung lancer mo kaya ayun nagsalubong polarity..
I keep it sa office at sa haus/ condo for emergency use.. Comes handy sa mga ganyan situations and during loong blackouts that i have to charge my VRLA batteries.
Wait,- retz (again) is confusing you.
What you are looking for is a battery monitor (actually a voltmeter) that can be plugged into the lighter interface...
AFAIK - Walang analog variant iyon locally,- in the strict sense of the voltmeter word.
It is either digital or through LED.
Digital is about P995; LED is about P350...
If I were you and I have the dough,- I'd go digital...
