Meron po akong open thread about that sir ronskiee Shops that can do grounding kit installation in cavite area?. But up to now naghahanap pa din ako ng reliable shop who knows the proper procs of grounding kit installation at malinis mag-wiring :-)
If by chance may makita kang shop in bacoor/imus area na mag-iinstall ng grounding kit mo, paki-share naman kung saan. Thanks

si azkal nga maganda yung DIY nya dba, mga ganun sana e. kaso hirap humanap ng ganun sa mga shop, sige boss inform kita if ever may makita ako. inform mo din ako pag may makita ka din.

Kahit lagyan mo yan ng grounding kit manginginig pa rin yan. Pacheck mo muna sa mekaniko kung ano ba talaga ang sira.

Yes sir, magaling at malinis pagkaka-tira ni boss askals sa grounding kit nya and very detailed ng procedures kaso zero knowledge talaga when it comes to electrical at kulang din sa tools. Since kuryente yan, mahirap isapalaran kung ang gagawa has lack of experience. Anyways, cge sir update kita pag may nahanap akong shop.

*ronskiee: Sa province kami brod eh. Kayang-kaya naman DIY yan basta alam mo location ng parts sa engine bay ng car mo.

Tool required is an adjustable wrench or a set of wrench for different sizes of bolts.

Universal grounding kits can be used in any car model. For 5-point grounding kit, choose any 5 ground points. For 6-point grounding kit, choose any 6 ground points. And so on.

Possible Grounding Points:

1. Chassis/Body (Right)
2. Chassis/Body (Left)
3. Firewall/Bulk Head
4. Intake Manifold
5. Alternator
6. Cylinder Head
7. Cylinder Block/Engine Block
8. Valve Cover
9. Starter
10. Transmission
11. Distributor
12. Aircon Compressor

If the included wires are long, connect each wire directly from the battery to the ground points. Example,

1. Battery (-) terminal to Chassis/Body
2. Battery (-) terminal to Intake Manifold
3. Battery (-) terminal to Firewall
Etc.

If some wires are short, you can daisy-chain ground points that are near each other. Example,

1. Battery (-) terminal to Chassis/Body
2. Chassis/Body to Intake Manifold
3. Intake Manifold to Firewall
Etc.

For safety, remove the connection of Battery (+) terminal before installing ground wires.

Make sure all connections are tight.
To keep things tidy, use plenty of cable/zip ties.
Keep the wires away from moving parts and hot engine parts.

After completing the installation, return the connection of Battery (+) terminal.

You do know that you don't really need that many wires.

Just do the Big Three. It does what a grounding kit does with less wires.

Get bigger wires. This reduces the electrical resistance needed for current to flow.
