In my experience with Motolite, their battery models always conk out at its listed warranty life. We even have an experience where the battery conked out months before its warranty life but Motolite did honor the warranty.
I used an Amaron Pro (24 months warranty) on my Fiesta and it lasted 32 months before it was replaced.

1 Amaron lasted 23 months just 2 months past warranty.
1 motolite lasted 23 months too and another motolite just died at 20 months.
Current batt is motolite replacement for the one that died at 20 months.
All 3 had 21 months warranty and all in the same car (GS).
Another car, tucson crdi.
Motolite lasted 29-30 months.
Amaron lasted 36-38 weeks i think.
21 months warranty for both.
Current batt is Panasonic na black which is made in thailand iirc.
So sa small sample size:
50% good ang Amaron and 33% good ang motolite.
Most expensive ang motolite but low quality imho.
Mahal na rin ang amaron and had 1 batt that performed like motolite.
So I opted for panasonic which i heard good things from my friends. Mas mura pa ang panasonic compared to amaron and motolite hut it has a reputable name to it

keys in should be in ON position (engine off or on doesnt matter).
then charge, youll notice that it would charge a bit longer than usual before it reads 0 (zero) on amp display.
not sure if there is a workaround with keyless fob configuration.

Im on Panasonic (thailand) battery right now. Wala pang 12mos mahina na cranking power Since it takes usually two cranks to start. Will have the battery checked tomorrow. Is it my alternator kaya?
Makes me think twice getting this brand ulit. Might as well spend a bit more for another known brand.

Just replaced my panasonic battery today. Warranty just lapsed. Purchased it 12/17/2017. So I was 11 days late haha. I forgot or didnt know that the warranty was only a year.
Anyway, i changed to a panasonic again but this time it has 21 months warranty. This one was color red. Code is 42b19l. Old battery was 34b19l. The one that I purchased today according to the owner also has calcium and silver alloy inside and thicker plates just like the Amaron Hilife.
Right now they have a promotional discount for the panasonic battery. 4500 srp less 1000 promo discount so 3500. Not bad na din.
**If car pala used as grabcar, considered commercial vehicle na. So even if you purchased a 21 months warranty battery, magiging 6 months na lang because of that.**
Though not on a people carrier like the Innova, I have Yokohama es32 equipped on my Sylphy since...
