    Hi mga Sir I have a problem to my owner type jeep... aFter ng biyahe namin from the airport to batangas. Ayaw po mag start ng jeep ko malakas naman po battery... I done some test kong okey pa yung battery ko. I turn on yung head light okey naman then yung wiper okey din.. Nag pa test na rin me sa testing center ng battery pass naman daw nasa green zone pa ng tester.. By the way 1Yr old pa lang yung battery ko motolite yung color puti. Then i notice when i open the hood I see some spark sa ignition coil to ballast when i turn on the key and wala rin redondo...Check ko na rin lahat ng tension wires lahat naman naka kabit ng maayos. Then Pag tinulak naman yung jeep ayaw din mag start at kahit kunting redondo wala rin... Sabi naman ng mekaniko baka daw sa starter pudpod na daw ung soleniod. Medyo luma na yung starter ko di ko rin na papaservicesan for how many years na...
    By the way may engine is toyota 3T

    Dapat kahit sira ang starter pwede mo pa din mapa-andar ung kotse mo kapag ni jumstart. Kung malakas pa talaga ung battery mo parang click lang naririnig mo kapag i-start mo ung makina then pwedeng ung starter ang may problema. Have it cleaned muna baka na-stuck lang ung motor ng starter kaya ayaw umikot.

    not the starter, since ayaw din umandar pag tinutulak. check the contact point gap sa distributor (kung contact point type ang ignition mo).

    Sir Tatchest,

    Some questions regarding your concern:

    1. While starting, does you engine crank normally? Kung baga, umiikot ba yung makina ng tama at mabilis? If not, or mahina ang ikot, there are two possibilities: a. Mahina ang battery (which I believe hindi, since per your statement ok ang test results). b. something's wrong with the starter (which of course includes the solenoid).
    2. May output ba yung ignition coil during cranking? Also if there is output, is the output strong? You can tell that the voltage output is strong if the current's color is bluish-yellow and malakas at pitik ng apoy. Kung walang output yung coil then its either yung coil or sa supply ng kuryente ang problema. You may also check your high tension wires and spark plugs kung ok sila lahat and nakakarating ba sa kanila yung high voltage from the coil.
    3. Third, fuel system. Malinis ba filter (fuel & air)? Tama ba yung delivery ng fuel?
    4. During morning start-up, madali ho ba syang nai-start?

    In one of my experiences, halos kagaya nung sa inyo wherein pag unang start sa umaga is ok naman start nya, pero pag galing sa byahe then start ulit, e hirap nang umandar. I found na yung Ignition coil pala ang problem. Since luma na kasi yung coil, kung baga mahina na bumitaw ng kuryente lalo na pag uminit na sya.

    Of course in your case, you might need more checking as illustrated.

    Check mo kung may kuryente maaring mahina na rin ang Coil mo kaya hindi maganda bigay ng kuryente. Dalawa lang iyan pag ayaw umandar kung carburator type makina mo kuryente at gasolina lang iyan.

    you may want to consider this tip;

    while cranking, battery voltage must be at least 9.6v

    ignition spark should be at least 25kv



    assuming that you have the tools needed.

    Mga sir thanks po sa mga advise nyo solve na ung problem ko... sa Grounding relay lang pala ung sira... thanks po...... As of now pinapalitan ko na ung relay. medyo na sunog pati ung fuse pinapalitan ko na rin... okey na po ulit...

    Mukhang pareho lang tayo ng problema, i also have the same car owner type jeep, engine is Hyundai D4BX, bigla na lang namamatay sa takbo, tapos kpag niRestart, click lang naririnig, umiikot nman makina kpag pinagshort ko yung parang pasitive & negatibe ng solinoid. Ang sabi nung mekaniko sa battery shop solinod daw ang problem pero i doubt nung mabasa ko thread na ito.

    Sir, magkano gastos if ganito lang kagaya nung syo ang sira?
