Tanong ulit sa mga expert dyan sa prob regading alternator. Kasi a week ago nasira alternator ko tapos pinagawa ko pinalitan ng surplus ok naman, then kanina ko lang na check and napansin na yung alternator belt na hindi salpak sa ribbings ng alternator. sinilip ko misalign yung alternator sa ibang pulley.
Ang tanong ko e ok lang bang ganito? or may magiging problema ako kapag hinayaan ko na lang na ganito?

hindi okay yan, eventually a problem will come out because of the misalignment, ipaayos mo yan.

Yup, hindi OK yan. Your alternator will undercharge, thus madaling ma-drain yung battery mo. Or worse, it may slip. Pakabit mo ulit yung belt sa mga mekaniko sa gas station. P50 lang tip, ok na yun sa kanila.

thanks mga bro, ibalik ko na lang dun sa nag install ng alternator may 6 months warranty naman e, bale ganito itsura nya...

yup mayayari ang belt mo nyan, mapuputol yan or magdevelop agad ng cracks sa ribbings nya..

September 13th, 2007 10:11 PM #7masisira po nang masisira ang belt nyan... maganda po ibalik nyo sa gumawa para maayos/ma-align yung brackets.

kainis nga e mahal pa naman ang bayad ko tapos ganun pa yung trabaho nila, madali lang ba i adjust yung pulley/brackets ng alternator para mag align sa ibang pulley? kasi baka matagalan na naman yung sasakyan sa talyer...

September 14th, 2007 02:31 PM #9should the alternator you bought is the exact model for your engine then the mechanic can just detach the new pulley and install your old pulley to the alternator it should not take you more than an hour to have it administered if they converted it the adjustment to the bracket would take awhile

it's not the same model, uprated yung ipinalit kaya siguro hindi tama yung alignment ng pulley, sana magawan ng paraan para hindi ako kakaba kaba sa kalsada.
