4A-FE and 4A-GE 20V Max Power?

Being 1.6-liter engines, do these have the same maximum attainable power when modified?

In their construction, how does the 4A-GE 20V differ from the 4A-FE such that it produces around 50 hp more.

Lastly, in improving performance, is it really better to swap to the stronger engine rather than continuous modification of the standard?

The 4AGE has a wider angled cams, that alone makes the G model intrinsically more powerful than the F model.

For me its better to just change the whole engine. Iba pa rin ang reliability stock. I mean, rather than going through all the mods with the F engine.

No, I plan pa rin to modify the 4A-GE in case I will have it swapped.

Where I'm getting at here is that will the maximum attainable power of both engines be the same, or will the 4A-GE still be stronger.

4AGE is still stronger.

IF you do plan to do forced induction work, you might want to check out the 4AGZE (supercharged) version.

Grabe kamahal yung blacktop pag manual. Pero kung sa kalye lang natin ok na kahit stock. Kung plano mo mag-heavy mods lalo na for race, sa regular 16V ka na lang. Marami pang parts and you can easily surpass the blacktop's 160/165hp. I think may nag mod ng redtop over 200hp na.

get the 4age. you can go turbo with the readily available bolt on turbochargers.

curious, which is better to turbocharge for both more HP & reliability?

4AGE 16v
4AGE 20v silver
4AGZE (piggy back turbo or remove supercharger and add big turbo)

(di pwede blacktop, mahal na kasi eh)
