Depends... it'd be easier, IMHO, to turbo a 4AGZE. I'm not sure the internals of the FE can take it, and you'd need very VERY good tuning to keep the thing from eating itself under boost.
There are tales of 160+ whp Nissan GA16s on stock internals, and Honda D16s running over 160 whp, both with turbos, but this is with professionally done turbo installs, which can cost as much as or more than installing a turbo or performance engine in the first place.
