    now, that IS a problem!
in my older car, the front headrest is remove-able. i simply remove and replace 180 degrees, if i find it too forward.
in this byd, it don't look remove-able.

    According to BYD... it's steel.

    High-strength body

·The proportion of hot-formed steel is 11%, and the tensile strength of steel is up to 1500Mpa.

·High-strength steel and above accounted for 85%, and ultra-high-strength steel accounted for 55%.

·Key components are all made of high-strength steel with a tensile strength exceeding 1180MPa to ensure that after a collision space for the passenger compartment and improved passive safety.

is the shield a third party product,
or is this an ad by the car manufacturer, stating that their car is inherently is dangerous, but
"for a small purchase, they can make it safer" ?

Na remember ko tuloy dun sa EV na thread na BYD vehicle electrocuted the driver.
Parang BYD Atto ata na car yun, baka eto yung dahilan why may short circuit sa loob ng interior.
Baka due to successive bumps and potholes, it might dislocate some parts in the battery which in turn may touch on metal part of the car.

It will probably depend on the design of the battery casing in the vehicle in question. Teslas seems to be fine taking it from the flat side of the casing but had issues with with debris hitting the leading edge presumably where the connections are to the vehicle.
