From what country are you referring to sir? Here in the Philippines, the reason why there are short intervals for PMS is the fuel quality. As you know, Philippine law states the use of Euro 2 standards for fuels, although the small oil companies are already using Euro 3-4 standard fuels. The problem nga lang, the small oil companies have fewer fuel stations than the Big 3 oil companies (Petron, Shell and Caltex), that is why the majority of motorists especially in the provinces tend to use the Euro 2 standard fuels of the Big 3.

Sorry I forgot to mention my location. I am in switzerland.
The sonic is my first brand new car and i do not know anything about car system maintenance. So pwede nga na nasa gasolina, pero kung sa shell lang mag pa gas? Lets say na certified euro3? Would it change anything? Kasi yung standards are for emissions naman diba?
At ibig sabihin mahal talaga ang gas sa philippines, kasi low quality na nga ang mahal pa.

    Thanks!

Shell is still using Euro 2 standard fuels. No it won't change the PMS interval. Until the Big 3 oil companies here is still using Euro 2 standard fuels, PMS intervals are still shorter than countries using Euro 3-6 standard fuels.

Go to the nearest one sir pero since the owners of Chevrolet Commonwealth also owns Isuzu Dagupan, I think you can claim the insurance (if you will be getting in-house insurance of Chevrolet Commonwealth) there even if the repair estimate came from Chevrolet Dagupan

Good evening sirs. i saw from the posts that different chevy dealers are owned by different people. let's say i got one from chevy north edsa (Caleb's), can I go and have my PMS at chevy alabang (Junno's)? magkakaproblema ba ako sa mga warranty claims?
