acceleration problem with my optra 04 model

I bought this car November of last year (2nd hand) and lately I noticed that when I step on the gas at low gear ( 1st and 2nd) instead of accelerating it tends to hesitate and will only do so after the RPM hit above 2000RPM. Also, even in 4th and 5th gear as long as the RPM falls below 2000 and I immediately step on the gas the engine does not react immediately same like when the gear was at low setting. But noticeably this all happens when the RPM is below 2000. What could be the problem? Is this something to do with its fuel injector? Spark plugs? Any suggestion and help is highly appreciated.

2004 ls 1.6?
if possible you can try to bring the unit to our shop located at cainta. we have 2 unit of optra 2004 m/t and a/t same 1.6 ....
if you want we can use my own optra to help us find what sensor or parts has a problem...
the we can find it for you....

thanks for the reply....so di mo pa na encounter this kind of problem sa optra mo? medyo malau lang ang cainta sa akin...am from cavite.
