fuel efficient na yan. yung chevy spark 2011 ko na A/T 7 liter per KM . sobra lakas sa gasolina.

tanong lang mga sir, tama lang ba ang fuel consumption ko na 12.6km/L 30% highway and 70% city, feeling ko kasi mataas ang consumption nitong spark ko dahil yung 1.3E 06 vios ko nag-aaverage ng 12-13km/L pure city driving.

I'm a spark 2011 A/T owner, kung pwede lang isoli ito ginawa ko na. my gas average ranges only from 7-8km /L and believe me,

I search forums, get suggestions from chevrolet. and nothings helps. I guest this is designed to be on automatic. what a failure.

sa akin po 10k/L ang lowest pure city po manila to makati then makati to taguig tapos balik sa makati at manila ulit. pero di ako bumababa sa 10k/L pinaka best ko is 14.xx po. yung bagong mirage ko 14k/L ang lowest ko. mas matipid fc ng mirage sa spark saka mas maganda hatak ng mirage para sakin pero mas maganda at quality naman ang materials ng spark sa mirage

sir im planing to get a chevy spark... 10k/l city driving ang average consumption ng spark? what fuel type gamit? ilan po passenger kadalasan saky nyo?... i currently own a 2012ford everest which my average fc on city is 12k/l... i usually travel alone that is why i plan to get a small car with very fuel efficient engine... my choices is this chevy spark or kia picanto.. sana sir mka advice kayo. maraming salamat po.

unleaded at premium gasoline gamit ko sir, alternate lang kapag nagpakarga ako ng gas.. sa shell at petron ako nagpapa-gas kung ano una madaanan ko sa dalawa. mag isa lang ako na-byahe kadalasan sir. opinion ko lang sir ha, ok naman ang spark matipid kung sa matipid kung ico-compare natin sa ibang kotse gaya ng vios, rio etc.. syempre mas malaki yung engine displacement nila kung ikumpara natin sa 1.2 engine displacement. pero kung parehas ang size ng engine (1.2L) maliit na difference lang fuel consumption nila depende na lang sa drivng style yan at bigat ng kotse.

OT:Sir, yung mirage nyo is manual or cvt? Ano po rpm nya sa 100kph? Below or above 2k? How about spark manual? TIA

thanks sir.. i have check car today and test drive.. the 1.0 LS is juz enough for me. in terms of durability ng spark anu po ang feedback nyo sir? i also notice the aircon is bit weak and doesnt cool enough on engine idle pag tumakbo na saka lumamig. normal lang po ba yan sa spark?

manual po sir yung mirage ko, ganun din sa spark. sa spark, nasa 100kp/h ko 2.8 yung rpm o isang bar na lang 3 na yung rpm. yung sa mirage di ko pa napansin. kapag maalala ko check ko rin kung ilang rpm sa 100kph

Sir i got my spark 1.0 mt five days ago..my reason i get the spark because i travel alone most of the time.easy to park around d city..i get a 15km/liter city driving. the downside is not the car but chevrolet after sales services.

To Everyone with Fuel Oil Consumption concerns,

I have the same experience...
I own a 1.2MT Spark with 35000 kilometers on the meter.

In the CITY, in heavy traffic I get 8 km/liter. Best is around 10 km/liter.
Nakakalungkot when compared to Vios 1.3J MT or Avanza 1.3J MT.
Both of which, we own one time or another.
The Avanza gives me 10km/liter in heavy traffic and goes up to 12 km/liter in light traffic.

Out in the open roads (NLEX in particular), if you use
open roads frequently, the Spark gives me 24km/liter.
I have done this a couple of times. The results are the same.
2 passengers, aircon 1, 85km/hour on average.
The Avanza gave me a best 16km/liter in the open road.
1 passenger, aircon 1, 70km/hour.
(Note: I could not go beyond 75km/hr on the Avanza as
the unit begins to "shake" at speeds above this whereas in the
Spark 110km/hr is not a problem.)

Last Saturday, we drove Spark from Tabang, Bulacan NLEX to Makati
and back. 4 passengers, Aircon at 3, 80km/hr average speed + light
traffic along EDSA, Fuel station and pump is the same. Auto stop in re-fuelling,
the result was 18km/liter.

Based on experiences by people on this thread, CITY driving
consumes a lot of fuel. OPEN ROADS driving is where this car
has its advantage over VIOS 1.3J MT and Avanza 1.3J MT.

I hope this can shed some insights to the fuel consumption of Spark.

To All with FC concerns,

I agree with the 8-9km/l na FC ng Spark sa city.
The FC of 24km/l which I consistently got is from highway driving.
I get this 8-9km/l in pure city driving.
Then I started changing my driving habits.
I noticed that the Spark wishes to get to higher gears as quickly as possible....
I change gears at 1,500rpm...not 2000rpm.
I am light on the gas as I do this and I let the engine "naturally speed up"(if a term exists).
I feel the engine as I do this to make sure the engine is not geared incorrectly.
The result is 10.5-14km/l in city driving.
Since ang daming variables to consider pag city driving, this change of driving
style has improved my FC. Ito po yung na-experience ko. I am uncertain sa iba.
I hope it can help even in a small way.

sir san po kaya ang problema kapag napark ng 1 week ang sasakyan, walang gamitan, ayaw nya mag start, pero pag everyday naman ginagamit, ok sya...sa battery or alternator po ba ang sira nito? thanks!
