combined long and heavy city driving yung 17FC.. titipid pa un dahil 800km pa lang odo.
nasubukan ko na 130kph.. grabe, may ibibilis pa. dumami lang sasakyan sa highway.
sa hatak ok na ok.. dinala ko ng lucban, quezon.
problema, umilaw yung oil icon. pero malabo. text ko yung SA then he told me to bring the car to nearest service center.
baka daw nagkaproblem yung sensor/sending unit.
Good day mga sir, Any update with your chevy spark?
may na encounter na po kayo problem with the car? how about the back end support ok lang po ba when it comes to spare parts, and meron na rin po ba sa banawe area incase? thank you
Thanks Sir Toper
update us kung ano naging issue ng car, if you have time pwede unting kwento naman with the car like a review, cargo compartment, passenger seat spaces etch.
kasi ito talaga ung vote ko compare to other 1.0 engines around,

2012 Chevrolet Spark LS - Honest Car Reviews by AutoIndustriya.com
So what do we have here? Same Chevrolet Spark body with a smaller and more economical engine. The new Spark now offers a 1.0 liter engine for those environmentally conscious people out there, or even just for those individual that would like to cut back on their petrol expenses.
The Spark's exterior design is impressively stylish. It obviously took a lot of effort and time in the design department, which made it look way better than the old Chevrolet Spark. The oversized bits like its front grille, head lamps, and tail lamps matched with edgy lines all over the car makes it appear larger than what it really is. The unique positioning of the rear door handles sure can make your passengers laugh at themselves once they get to locate it.
Moving into the interior of the Spark, the seats and leg room is surprisingly roomy for a car of this size. The first thing you'll notice when you sit on the driver's seat are the LED-lit motorcycle-inspired instrument cluster as they are mounted closely behind the steering wheel. The digital tachometer, odometer, and fuel gauge can be seen on the LCD panel beside the analog speedometer. Ample storage space can also be noticed right away by the pockets that are strategically placed all over the interior of the car. A 60/40 split-folding rear seats is a standard feature for all three variants.
For your comfort and safety some features like the remote keyless entry and electronic immobilizer that you rarely see on mini passenger cars are made available for Spark owners. iPod ready single-DIN FM/AM tuners with remote also comes standard for this variant. Seeing how little the changes they made on the Spark, the absence of the anti-lock braking system is still there, I guess they'll just add that to the all-new version instead for economically obvious reasons.
So what is it like driving the new Spark? Right from the start, I've set my expectation a bit low particularly for this car's acceleration due to it's smaller 1.0 liter engine, but as soon as you've driven it, you'll realize that it's not that bad. The power is just right to tackle the urban jungle that we are in, you just need to adjust your driving style to match the smaller engine's power for it to be really economical. Thanks to its wheelbase of 2375mm, and a turning radius of 5.0 meters, maneuvering through rush hour traffic is now more fun.
The new variant of the Chevrolet Spark sports a smaller and more economical 1.0 liter engine with the manufacturer claiming that it registered a maximum of 22 kilometers per liter, but judging by our drive, it wasn't anywhere near that number. Being a small engine, it burns less when sitting still in traffic, but to get any power out of it, you really have to give it some gas to get going.
Now, what boggles me is this particular variant's cost. Priced at PhP588,888.00, which is PhP5,000.00 more expensive than the 1.2 LT M/T variant. I'm not sure if the transmission is enough factor for the price difference, but aside from producing more power, the 1.2 LT M/T has better features (although only minimal) like the integrated MP3/WMA ready head unit and the roof rail to name a few.
To top things off, the Spark was a fun drive, especially if you're planning to use it inside the city more often. Its stylish design together with its smaller engine, you'll surely have less headache with gas and traffic problems.

hi mga sirs! Im really interested in acquiring a spark! I love the green one! I've been reading this thread but really can't decide which one I should be getting.. I currently own a 1.6 mt corolla 96 and my fc is 8=10km/l pure city driving (mga 2k=2.5k rpm shifting and 12km/l highway (may hataw hataw shempre sa hiway). I haven't done the full tank method lately but i peg my gas at 250/ day pero may tira panaman onti siguro. anyway Im very concerned on FC nowadays coz of the continuous rise of the price of gas. And since tumatanda na Im gearing towards getting the automatic version. My only fear is if I get the 1.0 a/t, it might be underpowered and might just get 10km/l din so parang parehas lang mas mabagal pa.
Is this really a good choice? my route is from qc -makati everyday. Or should i just stick to my old reliable corolla that has served me and my family for 16 years. Ive been reading forums kasi of these car class and so far spark ang may pinaka ok na reviews.
but if the 1.0 a/t can do 17km/l or more basta tamang apak lang i might really consider this. most of the posts kasi have manual transmission. Hoping to get replies from 1.0 a/t spark owners on the FC. THank you so much
we're planning to buy the chevy spark 1.0 a/t. so i am looking for sales agents ng chevy spark na ok kausap. please send your best offers and freebies. paki-include na rin yung mga payment options (low downpayment high monthly amortization OR high downpayment low monthly amortization). paki-email nalang sa johnkevindomingo*yahoo.com
para naman sa mga kakabili lang ng spark nila, baka pwede nyo i-recommend kung sino sales agent nyo and ano yung binigay niya na deal and freebies.
thanks!![]()
im a owner of a spark 1.0 manual color green in my opinion when it comes to looks its really awesome, sarap nya tlga idrive and matipid nga sa gas, sa interior nman ung speakers nya naku kung mahilig ka mag sound setup think twice before buying this car nsa dashboard ung speakers 4 inch pa! pero other than that all looks cool!!
kung mas kya mo istretch ang budget mo go for 1.2!
MERUN NA BA DITO NAKAPAG SOUND SETUP NG SPARK NILA???
HELP NMAN PO KUNG ANU SETUP GINAWA NYO THANKS PO!!!
Wow haba, back reading, stopped at page 12, getting interesting, by the way any news if Spark 2013 models going to have a 1.2 AT? As per what i read, 1.2 is only available in MT.
get the spark!sayang lang at walang 1.2 na A/T dahil ok mga features ng LT over LS. we got the 1.0 A/T and surprisingly ok naman ang hatak. did ~100kph on SLEX at tahimik at stable din. may nabibili kayang fog lamps outside ng casa?
owner of spark 1.0 A/T, so far so good.. fuel consumption is great... test drove it from cavite to pangasinan..... about 18km per liter with a/c on set on number 2...........
As for power....gets to handle 100kph with no hassles.... tried it at 120kph still doing great.... parang hindi ka naka 1.0........
Any info if the new Spark would be facelifted or be given upgrades? Curious here.
Correct me if I am wrong the current prices for Spark is as follows:
538k - MT 1.0
598k - AT 1.0
599k - MT 1.2 --- Compared with the Kia Picanto 1.2 MT, how does it stack up?
