Ian Obiniana hi im having a problem regarding my cruze. i got the LT with 17 inch rims.. looks nice! but it turns out that the tyres are not that good. the car has been with me for 3 mos and within that time frame, one of the tires got a small lump at the side. called up the showroom and they said they dont repalce tires even if it's still almost brand new. plus the cold engine starts at the mornings gives a really noisy valve ticks! the maintainance guys tells me it's normal for VGIS engines and it is okay.. hmmm....... can you please give me any suggestions to what i can do about it. thanx
bakit kaya ayaw palitan yung tires niya kahit bago pa?
ask ko nga kung anong tires niya kaso ala pa reply
You cannot get an accurate reading with the above sir. Using this method, you have to put it at full tank until the lip of the gas noozle. Then run and record your mileage from the time you fill in your first full tank until your second full tank. Get the km ran and divide it with how much liter of fuel you used.
The much easier and faster way is read in your instrumentation the average L/100km. Just get the reading and divide from 100.
Reading in your instrumentation - 11 L/100km
FC = 100km/11 = 9.09km/L
The tyres basically is covered by warranty. But the Distributor does not usually cover it (same as batteries). It's the tyre manufacturer that covers the warranty. The usual process is the Dealer coordinates with the Tyre manufacturer for them to qualify the tyres. The owner should not be burdened calling the tyre dealer.
My Chevy Cruze will be ready for pick-up na raw next week when I get to Manila. Can't wait to get behind the wheel & take it for a spin. It's been awhile since I drove a brand new car.![]()

Ian Obiniana yup tinawagan ko po both casa and supplier. they both said di raw approved yung replacement ng tire. 3 mos pa lang po sakin yung cruze nung nagkaroon ng bukol.
sana hindi mangyari ito sa atin
As a legitimate buyer/consumer, we all have the right to complain if we found some defects in the product. All we have to do is to forward to all TV networks, radio stations our complaints plus the proof. Tingnan natin kung hindi iikot ang pwet nila kapag nasa limelight na ang kanilang company. Let us make use of the internet to make our lives easier.
This time, they should have learned their lessons why the buying public lost their trust in their products. They should not wait for another failure to pull them DOWN again.
Wow! Congrats Marlboro2010. Nakakainggit naman.
*jcvelarde - nice idea for a Chevy Cruze eb. Someone mentioned earlier on that we can get support to put up a Chevrolet Cruze club? Maybe even a forum board?
hehehe easy lang kayo dyan. Dinala ko sa Tagaytay kagabi ang cruze ko at pinagtitingan ng mga tao doon. Okay ang takbo may problema lang ako ng konti sa clutch kasi nga malalim. Not that I have a short leg since 5'10" naman ako, malalim lang talaga.
Sa mga manual owners diyan, any suggestion?
