Just my opinion. Before you buy mods to your beloved Cruze, decide first kung ano ba ang looks na gusto niyo: Euro, JDM, USDM?
Euro themed:
1. Yong windows dapat clear (so use magic clear tint)
3. Dapat may roll on/off sun visor sa rear window.
4. Yong mags na gagamitin dapat pang euro din (ask your friendly tire dealer about this)
5. Maganda kung nakakulay black yong lower portion ng rear bumper (yong inverted letter "c")
JDM:
1. Pwedeng may tint
2. Malaki ang ducktail
From what I read above, the aircon design of the Cruze is similar if not the same as the older Opel Astra cars, the current Cruze shares many parts, chassis with the current Astra in Europe. The lower fan speed at setting 1 I think is meant to keep the car interior "quiet," note that the Cruze is one class above in smoothness and quietness of the ride, so even the fan blower will be more easily heard because there is so little noise in the cabin, even the tire noise is muted. Note in the rain, you barely hear water splashing underneath. In our Opel we also need to replace the cabin filter at 20Tkms. I have not heard of it becoming dirty sooner than that. Maybe the one difference in the Cruze is as some say, does the aircon automatically take in outside air at certain times while in use? If yes, I read somewhere, that the intention was to "refresh" the cabin air with "clean" outside air...hehe, the engineers didn't think how about our air?
Your absolutely right. What i do is manual settings instead of fully automatic. Sa Cruze nama, no choice unless you have it closed by the dealer. Ganda ng insulation ng Cruze, if you change tires / mags, prepare to have a harsh ride and tire sounds will definitely arise.
MAHAL! P1.288M. That is P200K more than a LT petrol version... And the only difference is this one has a diesel engine (meaning higher maintenance costs too) and a PUSH START (its just a novelty that will wear fast). Worth P200K extra? I am on the camp that thinks no and just go get the LT Petrol...
The dangers of proximity key

Correct me but this Chevrolet Cruze model we're talking about here isn't even being sold in Japan. At least for some of those Japanese cars with euro theme, those cars are really being sold in europe. Ricey na talaga yun ibang euro theme na wala naman yung kotse sa europe like mga revo or vios.
And we don't want to see a ricey Cruze right? Sayang naman, it's going to be an eyesore. The Cruze is a nice looking car and i would hate to see it all riced up. And why would you suggest it to people kung ricey din. Parang tinuruan mo ng mali!hahahhaaha
About the diesel, it's too expensive.. and has less features expected in a top end car.. just a glorified Cruze LT. For that money, i'll get a Mitsubishi Montero Sport GLX!
In contrary, I am just merely sharing what a JDM and euro themed cars 'should' have. As a matter of fact, parang sinabi ko pa na mag-ingat sa kabibili ng kung ano-ano para hindi magmumukhang chopsuey ang kotse.
Sampolan kita brad ha. May isang nakapost na Chevy Cruze na naka-kon-todo sa mods; may euro ducktail and so many other stickers including a "TRD" sticker <<< o di ba chopsuey?
As it is, wala din akong balak na gawing chopsuey ang Cruze ko kasi nga sabi mo, maganda na siya. In short, I am not suggesting anything.....
Anyone here has confirmation and exact specs of the diesel Cruze?
ito yong info from topgear http://www.topgear.com.ph/news/and-n...he-philippines
I have to agree, its too expensive and competition would be Focus in its class. Bihira lang ang diesel na cars, if diesel man lang, lets wait for the pricing of Hyundai Accent.
Yung sa Push Start naman, I disagree. It will be the future, but for now, its nice to have. Ask anyone naman, mas prefer nila push start/stop then regular key. I'm enjoying the push start/stop feature and I hope they will make it standard.
As they say, if there is a way, there is a will. Regardless if regular key, proximity keys, alarm, without alarm, if someone wants your car, they will find ways. Ingats ingats lang tayo.
