What's the longest time you've been with a specific employer or business?

Mine is 4.5 years! I believe I lasted that long because I have a great boss and nice colleagues

Longest tenure was my 1st job. 10 years. Must have been a stickler for pain. Lol.

First job: 7 years. I started at the bottom of the barrel; left as an supervisor/entry level officer... went through three different departments, promoted three times (the 4th was upcoming but i decided to move companies), face palmed by my boss countless times, + training so not bad. I was planning on reaching at least ten years to get my separation benefit but the opportunity to try a different field and have more responsibilities presented itself.

Second job: 2 years and counting

When I'm at an interview, i usually ask the person interviewing me on how long they have been employed at the said company. In some cases, it helps give me an idea if the company is a good employer or not.

Alam ko kasi sa private,- pinapaubos every year o binabayaran....

Kasi panay ang taas ng suweldo mo,- so pag ini-encash sa huli,- mas mahal!

Yup government.

May retiree nga dito he raked 1m + for the leave credits pa lang. Sarap ng retirement.

8+ years and counting. Waiting for 10 years para full benefits if ever I transfer.

Before this gig I worked with 5 different companies in a span of 4 years. Two years were spent in a govt building near MOA as a contractual employee. Lagi sira ang bundy :naughty2:

i remember telling my manager that i've found a job na kahit tumada ako ng eto ang ginagawa ko. ayos lang. hehehe...

My longest was 7 years. I left as I felt I've reached the highest position that I can in that organisation. I switched industries and took a huge paycut and lower position just for a change. I am loving it so far.
