Yes it's USD and it's actual value. She's older than me and she has less than 1,000 in "savings" That is SO stressful. Parang okay lang sa kanya yung 12k USD na utang niya haha

My cousin's ex was NOT kidding when she told me she had no savings. She showed me her 2 banking apps on her phone, her only accounts. I was surprised when she logged in and showed me the balances. I am 100% sure wala ng ibang bank account kasi she was honest naman, saka minsan umuutang pa yan sa Aunt ko LOL!

WTF! I would probably be dead from stress if I had those bank accounts. Funny coz she drives a brand new top on the line rav4. Maganda lang sa US, kahit wala ka pera, your medical bills are covered. That and the passport are the only reasons that make living in the US worth it.

The mere fact that she can afford to pay the monthly of a bnew car means hindi sya sa(id) talaga. And credit rating must be good.

How should I have phrased it then? I was just illustrating a real life scenario and nobody knows her identity naman.

Pano akong nasali ss usapan e hindi naman ako yung may utang? Wala ako savings pero wala akong utang

She lives paycheck to paycheck obviously. Just enough to pay her loans and bills. I think living with the parents of her EX in middle age is enough proof of that?

Makes me wonder sino mas worse when it comes to utang, Filipinos or Americans?

Based sa experience ko mas worse parin Pinoy sa utang. Dami ko na na-experience sa mga pinoy na di na nagbabayad ng mga utang. [emoji28]

I have friends in the US, mga wala ring ipon (liquid) I think ang pinaglalaaanan talaga nila is their 401k.

Im just preempting. Kasi baka at the back of your mind, ayaw mong magaya sa kanya kung sakaling magndecide ka na dyan ka.

Mas malala siguro pinoy. Dito, maski wala kang means, pinapautang ka. Sa US, at least may profile pa sila sayo bago ipa utang.
