well it's good may natutunan ka sa mga post ko hehe

i've was in the MLM scene

i've seen MLMs begin, take off, and die

meron mga nagsasabi new kind of business daw ang MLM... gimme a break... baka bago para sa kanila

there really is money in MLM pero it all depends on how hard you work (or how good you are at dragging people to recruiting seminars)

the scammy part is how they (the seminar speakers) make potential recruits think they'll also be making 6 or 7 figures / month

syempre sa kagustuhan kumita ng malaki sasali sila only to realize that it's not that easy pala

Assuming commission is 5k per recruit - sa inyo na yang 5000 niyo, I'd rather keep my friends.

Also, I know about 15 of my batchmates na nag-MLM.

sa mga recruiting seminar speakers make fun of office workers -- may position or title nga pero magkano lang daw ang sweldo. sa MLM daan libo ang kinikita buwan buwan. basically they're saying people with jobs are wasting their time. mag MLM nalang daw

And where's the fulfillment in that - earning money by selling the idea that your recruit will be earning millions.

    yep

yes. if you have a secure job at a multinational you're definitely going to beat MLMers in career longevity

    MLMs come and go

And where's the fulfillment in that - earning money by selling the idea that your recruit will be earning millions.
    exactly

there's a sense of fulfilment when you do something productive

like you erected a building, cured a patient, discovered a new drug, developed a hit video game, stuff like that

    MLMers produce nothing

day in & day out naghahanap ng pwede lokohin... i mean pwede ma-recruit

    hehe

    tapos pwede ka pa magbenta

    P250 profit mo per box

sounds like ako pa nag e-encourage sa inyo sumali sa MLM no? hehe

I avoid people that are into MLM. No offense to those who are into MLM, but I find it degrading. I don't wanna reconnect with people I have not been in touch with or call acquaintances just to sell a product.

on other side.. kung may 15 na sumali, may dalawang umangat.. siguro nga it all depends kung gaano ka din kasipag , masipag lang siguro ung dalawang umangat ( as what UlS pointed out)

Thing is, those people could've gotten decent corporate jobs. As fresh grads they could've earned 20-25k/month salaries. Eh sa pag-MLM nila hirap silang mabawi yung starter kit nila, tapos wala na silang friends and dignidad.

You could say that starting a business is just as risky, but a business is something you can be proud of, something that doesn't require selling false hope of fortune.

yeah many MLMers have a hard time earning back the joining fee

many people don't care about dignity

    pera pera lang eh

    kahit ano paraan basta magkapera

kaya sa society natin madami shady characters

people who have assets pero di mo alam saan galing ang pambili

wala naman trabaho, wala naman visible business

    --

people think in order to join the "club" all you need is money

but once you're there you realize you don't really fit in

everybody knows what everybody else does for a living

they can smell shady a mile away

they can tell you have no values

    so what do you do?

you go hang with other shady people nalang

sample ng sales pitch ng nag MLM

Ayaw mong mag NETWORKING pero NAGPUPUYAT para mag FACEBOOK to gain network and friends.

Ayaw mong mahirapan pero 8 hours a day kang nagtatrabaho.

Ayaw mo.. Kasi Ayaw mong umasenso..

Remember: YOU DEFINE YOUR OWN SUCCESS.

Wow that is such a crappy pitch.

Ayaw mong mag NETWORKING pero NAGPUPUYAT para mag FACEBOOK to gain network and friends.
Facebook is a time-killer to relax and unwind and get your mind off work. I pity the person that sees Facebook as a networking exercise.

Tawag dun kwentuhan, you do it for casual conversation and not to sell overpriced shady products.

You invite friends to concerts and gimiks to enjoy their company and have a good time, not to recruit them to MLM.

Most people aren't against selling. They're against selling stupid products that are really just a front for networking and extorting money for the false hope that their recruit will gain financial freedom.

A legit job abroad has a contract that assures that you'll get paid a fare wage in exchange for the service you will render. Definitely less risky compared to relying on a constant stream of recruits.

Ayaw mong mahirapan pero 8 hours a day kang nagtatrabaho.
Ang ayaw mahirapan, tamad. Whether MLM, corporate, or business, ang tamad walang nararating.

Ayaw mo.. Kasi Ayaw mong umasenso..
Most people want to succeed, and they do this by doing their best at their job/business, saving and investing to increase their wealth and provide for their families. Some have better opportunities than others, but they run their own race without having to join shady quick-rich schemes with an unsustainable business model.

I have friends who are in the MLM business who kept inviting me to join them.

Napasubo ako sa MLM for around 6 months back in 2007. (meaning, I gave up after 6 months)
Nakatulong din in some ways --- Hindi ko kasi kasundo yung barkada ng misis ko. Pero as a fledgling MLM, I was forced to try to build a recruit list.
I also "tried" to recruit those friends and acquaintances that I were hiding from. Siempre ayaw din nila.
A couple of months later, I quit.
Pero to this day, medyo nang-iiwas pa rin sila sa akin.
(yon nga lang, medyo mahal yung naging investment ko para ma achieve yung blissfulness of having some people you don't like that much avoid you....)

or "ano work mo?" "kontento ka ba sa sahod mo?" "nakaka ipon ka ba?"
