*jut703: It's so sad hear that those people who are already earning 25k per month ay magpapaloko sa MLM. Heck, even a maid, tricycle driver, it's sad to know pag naloloko sila sa ganitong "business." Buti pang mag trabaho nalang sila everyday kaysa diyan at least doon ay steady income and hindi pa nasisira ang dignity nila.

Pwede ka talagang yumaman sa MLM and like I said, some of our uplines before ay galing sa wala and medyo pinalad. But before they joined, nasa 500 palang daw ang members which after a yr and half got to 30k+ members. Kaso when the company got to its 4th yr, nag umpisa ng bumagsak hanggang mawala. Even the check with 12k amount, it bounced. Kasi wala ng pondo ang company.

The way I see it, that kind of business is not the same as a legit business, whether small, big or multinational company. Isang ex. of I think a legit MLM is Avon and I think Dakki too. Probably never. Kasi you will sell products. Ayaw gawin yan ng tao kasi mahirap at matagal magka pera.

I agree with you that in the corportate world, you have to dress and play the part. Nakaka inis talaga. You have to play along kaya napaka hirap magtipid at mag ipon.

From your immediate family up to a total stranger. Nakaka walang respeto.

Kaya nila ikinu compare ang risk of having a business to joining MLM is the word risk. Yes that's true but it's on a totally different level. You have lost all the respect that they have for you. Ok lang if you still have money to at the very least reciprocate sa mga friends and relatives na isinali mo, pero kung ang source of income mo ay purely sa MLM and lahat kayo bankrupt, you will leave this world and nobody would even care.hehe

*Cathy: Yes, that's the secret to success in MLM, be the first to become members and count up to 2 yrs and pray that the business is still alive after coz beyond that, you have nothing again. Then look for a new company and repeat the process. That's why if you are late in getting into the picture, you're doomed.

Yes, don't get into a debate with a networker or make fun of them coz you will feel the immediate effect. It's like a religion. Try to ask questions in their seminars and you will get dagger looks from their members.

*RF02: Some are aware, some are skeptics, some are naive and some just don't care. Diyan nila ipapakita ang mga luxurious items to lure and hypnotize you na sumali. By the time you have realized it, member ka na.hehe

Kaya nga sa MLM business, conscience mo talaga ang kalaban mo kasi talo talo lahat. Sa kagustuhan mong makuha ung mga narinig at nakita mo sa seminar, each time you see an opportunity, magri recruit ka.

I've been to one of these mlm seminars and I can say that their speakers are really good.

The way they speak, di mo paghihinalaan na ginigoyo ka lang eh.

As the saying goes, there's a sucker born every minute.

    ^^ q.avenue? royal tru-orange! hehehehe

Ang gawin mo, tapalan mo ng sticker with your preferred MLM company lahat ng vehicles mo, bili ka ng expensive gadgets, then claim that you got them from MLM. Tignan mo, andaming sasali sayo.hehe

Ang game nila is the same in the corporate world. The better image you project, the better deals you get. Kaya nga pag nakarating ka sa top level, you have to up your game too. That's why ung mga may pera na sumasali, they can attract more people and build a better network kasi ung mga present assets nila ay nagagamit nila to project their image and make them look trustworthy and credible.

*99moves: Yes the speakers are really good. They will really boost your confidence, very motivational. Kaya ikaw, if you are a very gullible person and nabulag ka na doon agad, tapos ang pera mo sa membership. After a month ok pa, 2 months ok pa. Then pahirap na ng pahirap kasi nauubos na ang kakilala mo. ung downlines mo hindi na maka keep up. Then the following months, wala na, your network is burned.

*machine.pistol: It's different in every company but some companies cover almost everything from shoes, apparels, health & beauty products, food & drinks, supplements. Madami. The common denominator is all of them are overpriced. Ex. is a coffee sachet that is about 5x more expensive than an ordinary 3in1.

*RF02: I am just sharing my experiences, sir, kaya kahit papano ay alam ko din on how that MLM works. Sadly, I didn't succeed in that field. In short, I got burned too just like the millions of people who got trapped into believing that getting rich is as easy as pie. I didn't really make it as a career which was a very good decision on my part.

Usually inooffer nila yan sa mga willing pag mag take the risk. Kung bago make the risk even riskier. Yan yung magbibigay ka ng X amount and usually nasa 6 digits or more and the return is even higher. But the truth is, they are just playing you all along. Kaya ka nila binigyan ng vehicle, gadget, etc is simple - all for show.

Sa corporate, if we have to treat clients out, charged naman yun sa company.

It's possible to be a top-ranking boss and still be simple. One of our previous GM's (now expat to London) was a very frugal person, from his ahente days all the way to becoming the big boss. Di rin magastos sa gadget or sasakyan, but I'm sure his salary is more than enough to live a lavish lifestyle. Siyempre, pag kaharap clients, iba yun - but like I said, company expense.

On the topic naman of overpriced products - IMO this alone isn't inherently bad. An iPhone only costs less than 10k but Apple sells it for 30k in order to cover all costs and make a (huge) profit. Sa MLM, yung operating costs are the costs of commissions to the people, which are much higher than ATL marketing or product development, kaya mahal. Kumbaga, business is business - you can put whatever markup you like, and let the law of supply and demand work its magic.

The problem comes in how people are lured to buy these products even if they're grossly overpriced, because they do so with the false promise of wealth. Kumbaga you can buy P20 coffee but you go for the P100 coffee because your 100 pesos gets you not just coffee, but "a chance for financial freedom". At least yung iPhone wala namang false promises na yung ibabayad ko ay may kapupuntahang iba aside from Apple's pockets.

I buy Fern C from my friend. Since he's a member, I get it cheaper than retail

Yung ibang officemates ko USANA binibili (but they are not members). I think USANA is way overpriced.
