Gov't reaction 1: At least if we're gonna be corrupt, we're going to be number one !!!
Gov't reaction 2: Hindi totoo yan! Hinding hindi! Matagal na kaming number 1 at hindi ngayon lang!!
Gov't reaction 3: Hindi totoo yan! Nao-offend kami sa mga survey na ganyan! Mga *!&*^ leftist Singaporean. Pabisita nga kay kay Palparan yang mga yan.

It's actually good news to a lot of investors. No strict environmental restrictions for example..... lagay lang ang katapat. this is actually appealing to some.

It just proves na magaling talaga ang pinoy..nag iinnovate sa lahat ng bagay, be it on the good or bad side...pero mukhang ngang malabo ng matanggal ito (at least during our lifetime)..its too deep rooted and there are a lot of willing victims..wala ka rin naman aasahang political will. Sa election na lang alam mo na kung sino ang mga uupo...

punta kayo dito sa Baguio at makikita nyo yung unfinished flyover sa may marcos highway(near BGH). DPWH is asking for another 64 million pesos to complete the project or else the project will drag on until 2010! ..
Just asking - for what? for whom? And why would we have to suffer for that? Bato bato sa langit..tamaan ng flyover debris wag magalit!

corrupt? hell yeah. most corrupt? ewan ko lang. i hear mas masama pa sa vietnam and china. like the article said, controlled ang media/information flow dun.

not exactly relating to business, but i once read an article about some corrupt chinese gov't officials who swindled billions out of a construction project(building). paano sila nahuli? someone went to check the site expecting to see a building, but instead found an empty lot.

i've also heard a lot of land(in china) grabbing stories from my tsinoy friends -- ang masama pa niyan, ung sariling kamag anak pa ung nag swindle sa kanila, with some help from kurakot officials of course.

just because you don't see or hear about it, doesn't mean it isn't there.
